I wonder if any riders will use their Enduro bikes this year or even a hardtail like Phil Atwill did in practice last year. I would think the podium will be Men: Gwin / Vergier / Hart | Women: Atherton / Nicole / Seagrave
Headshot Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 I found this video on trailforks. Its a run down what is basically the Leogang WC track. Some of it may be bike park, but when its steep its pretty steep and rooty. Rocks are imported where necessary. Its interesting to see the alternative lines down the right of the DH course finish area.

Perhaps Atwils antics made the course builder embarrassed enough to make some changes. I wonder if RB will get a proper course preview done this time. Its been a bit of an epic Fail so far.

Capricorn Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Garlicki sunk to 58ths not sure who is left to qualify, so risk he could be bumped. Hart down in p31, 6secs off the pace. Last week's hotseat surprise, Reece Wilson, is out of his depth at Leogang, currently p83 (DNQ). New signing to polygon UR, Kenta Gallagher, still finding his mojo to qualify, back in p86 (DNQ). Even Mik Hannah sitting p46 currently. Very slow start to the season for the veteran. Struggling with thoughts of retirement/enduro? Combined top 10 elite women's and jnr ladies qualifiers. It's clear (again): Valentina Holl is elite ready.
