Capricorn Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 nah , pro's just need to start using solid steel pin chains ( coz I think they use those hollow pin pieces of sh#t ) OR world cup mech's really don't know how to use A chain breaker funnily enough, i trust the hollow pins more than the solid pinned chains. Broke a few of the latter, but none of the former.

I reckon it was just a duff change, honestly. With the amount of power they dump on the start gate, I wouldn't be surprised if a dodgy change got the chain wrecked.
Yo-Yo Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 I miss RatboyHe was the best run to watch. Watched some in interviews with him recently opening up about the mindset of leaving the WC DH scene. Shame he's an honest oke about it & seems to be hating it but kudos to SC & others for keeping him funded. Seems like he's loving life now filming, riding & not overly serious about the EWS. R.Atherton looked to be on a serious run coming in 3rd with a snapped chain & a crash to be 1 second behind 2nd place.

He did the right thing. That was a pretty good race. I had money on Pierron and Seagrave and they both performed, with a bit of luck. I'm sorry Gwin crashed because I'd have liked to see what he could have done.
