I did post this on the salvage thread as well - Free to collect in the east rand area, I have never had success with it.

Just bought one. What's the issue? Should I switch back to Stan's Race?

I just could not get it to work, I suppose if you have better rims they might work but on my Scott rims and Maxxis Tires I battled.

I've only used it on the gravel bike. Will need to change tyres on gravel and road bike soon...

If it's functional drop it in a donation bin at a bikeshop.

Does anyone have a set of High rise MTB bars lying around?

It's either a standard size 31,8mm clamp high rise bar OR a long BMX stem.

I can't seem to find either

Hi All

I'm looking for a charger for my bike light batteries - has anyone got one they no longer need? Often the batteries die first, but not in my case.

I have those pretty generic 4cell lithium packs with velcro straps and a cable and plug.

Thanks!

edit: preferably in ct southern suburbs, otherwise I can organise courier too

I think I have, lying in my buitekamer. I will go and look what the voltages are, I know I disposed of 2 lights. kept the chargers etc

You'll struggle to find one I think.

An entire crankset with both arms and chainrings is only like R700.
Shout if you need help sourcing one.

Thanks Nick, all delivered and fitted and rolling again. Much appreciated.

I have a spare Magic Shine charger, but it has a European plug so you'll need a SA adaptor. DM me if interested.

Hi gents any broken carbon frames taking up space in sheds ?

I am busy kitting out my new garage and want to hang cool stuff on the walls. I'm a bike nut 🔩 so cool for me are frame sets.

That I can rattle can and get creative with maybe even some lamps to be made.

Anyway pm me !

Appreciate it !!

Good day

I’m looking for a bracket / mount for a Cateye tl-ld600 light. (See pic)
any old light mount /bracket will fit as long as it’s fairly strong. I bought a cheap light off takealot just for the bracket but it was too flimsy and my light just rattles all the time.
Happy to pay.

Thanks

Mike

Hi, I have these 2 brackets not sure what Cateye light they from. If the slide on the light fits the slide on these clamps it might work for you.

Hi Barry

Thanks for reaching out. I think my light is older so doesn’t have the slide on piece but just a mount with a screw through it.

my actual mount is ok, it’s just the clamp that broke.
my light also looks a bit bigger than yours sadly (19mm x19mm on the actual light).

Appreciate you reaching out.

No problem. Maybe hunt around at your LBS many ways to hack this bracket. Reflector bracket might work or the bracket on a kids bell.
