so does drafting actually work in Zwift?

Yes definitely.

One of the last big pushes that split the group, on the little climb to the Volcano. Some decent power numbers there!!

Shows you what you need to be pushing out at the end of the race to make the final break!

Sucked getting dropped there... my HR and jelly legs just didn't want to respond... Full power next week!

I just cannot push 10+ Watt/kg...

I raised this from the onset but it looks like the organisers believe that if you are born between 20-29 and 9 years gaps there after then you should have the same power...hence I raced once and never again.

The women riders compete against men all the time. We also compete against younger women. It is a challenge - to improve all the time.  If it wasn't for some younger, faster, fitter rider whipping my ass, I would never have improved. I don't want a participation award, I want a challenge.

Give this woman a whole bottle of bells! Hell - a whole case!

I think the point may have been missed here.

Its about gameplay and the excitement of racing in groups. Thats what brings numbers to these events

But for me the situation is addressed somewhat by everyone starting together. Means that seeding would happen automatically and groups will form naturally according to ability.

surrey hills AGAIN??!?!?!?

no thanks, I'd rather do OU intervals

  It is bloody hard and it also does not let up. BUT if you race any race the route almost does not matter because it is max effort from the start to the finish. However the length of the Surrey Hills route makes the race a bit long and sustaining the effort required for that amount of time WILL break you and if not careful you could overdo it and get an injury.

Ride within your limits of what you can sustain and you should be fine.

if the race started earlier it wouldn't have been an issue.

family time is more important than some virtual race

Looking at previous results, this is a 90 to 120 min race!?

A bit on the long side for me, although on this side of the world for different reasons. Need to get to work on time.[emoji16]
