Bit of a damp squib. Thought united had better chances but lacklustre otherwise.

On a nice losing streak with the bookie. . Results gone crazy lately

Yeah, City for me very clear favorites for the league now... nothing on show last night that would scare many decent teams. Crazy to think Liverpool have scored 1 goal in their last 4 games... especially when you consider all their issues injury wise are at the back.

I'm staying away from betting for a while I reckon... with Superbru I normally hit around 75-80% most weeks, these last few I'm not even getting 50% right, and when you bet on accumulators that's a disaster. I think the teams are knackered, especially the teams in Europe who have just played an insane amount of football in a very short space of time, so when a fresher hungrier team pitches up and they're not on their toes, they get picked off.

Much better game from Spurs... nice to see us finish off a game instead of getting ahead and then parking the bus :)

It was the latter

As it often is with these sort of games.

I struggled with a few streams, so gave up trying to watch, and I’m glad I did as I got some reading time in. Can’t comment on the game except for a few talking points from the YT highlights.

We were so bad against Inter I felt like pulling my hair out.. argh deserved that loss.

Suppose sometimes it goes like that..no more mishaps are allowed, so frustrating because consistency is missing.. also no excuses . We have the depth regardless of COVID and injuries, every team has the same challenges.

Obviously something in the air as Messi received his first club red card.

I was also disappointed that Spurs chose to move from Under Amour to Nike... At least then kits were guaranteed to be different as opposed to the uniforms that Nike producers these days

halfway point and there is still about 6 teams in it at the moment... brilliant considering how competitive last season was (not).

Villa, soton, everton all doing really well with Leicester really punching above their weight (again).

Crazy to think if Villa win their 3 games in hand they would move to 4th on GD only considering their last day survival at the end of last season.

Leicester have now played 19 which gives Villa 4 games in hand over them, if Villa get 12 points they basically guaranteed to sit above Pool, Leicester and Tottenham in the table.

Villa vs City tonight, going to be a massive 1 for both teams as City need the 3 points to go ahead of United.

LOL 4 games now. Leicester have played 19 whilst Vila have played 15, Villas toughest of the lot will be tonight vs City no doubt.

Fairytale stuff last season, Final day and boyhood hero Grealish scored a screamer(although they would've stayed up anyway because the other result went their way).

They've done well to hold on to him this season that's for sure after all the talks last season because if they went down there was no chance he would've stayed. Crazy stat that he was the most fouled player in the Prem last season(and in Premiership history) but his side nearly got relegated.

Same thing people said about Leicester and Vardy when they won the league, But guys like Morgan, Mahrez, Kante, Huth, Drinkwater and Schmeichel to name but a few were just as instrumental in claiming their first league title as Vardy was, But I believe his story from ground up is what cast him into the spotlight and really made people take note.

But what's impressing me most is their form this season, one would think losing your club owner as tragically as they lost theirs would affect the team and players for the longest while.

Yeah everyone seems to be waiting for them to fall off the pace yet they seem to be getting better. This is of course helped by the fact the other top teams are still dropping points here and there.

Epic 2nd half of the season ahead that's for sure.

In a normal season this would be very close to the Christmas period. Very few clubs that were top at Christmas went on to win the league, but this is not a normal season. I wonder how it will play out come match day 38/38.

After 18 games played, Citeh are top;

Leicester City have already played 19, so they can’t be top “at Christmas” or the halfway stage of the season;

LFC also can’t get to the top spot as they’re 4 points behind Citeh and also with game 19 to reach the halfway stage;

That leaves only Man U with an outside chance, if they beat Fulham tonight and Citeh lose their match day 19.

The assumption is based on 19 match days before Christmas as well as after, in the normal seasons.
