Opening a 50 year old bicycle toolbox

Hi guys. I was given an old toolbox by my future father in law. It belonged to his father (grandfather?) I will confirm. He was quite the avid cyclist so I'm sure there are some interesting things inside. I know very little of these relics (some are obvious) but maybe some of you know what some of these items are?

I hope some of these pics are a "blast from the past" for you.

If anyone has an idea of what I should do with all this stuff let me know.

It's always great to go through a box like that. There's quite a bit of money laying there in tools and part's. I wouldn't be in to much of a hurry to get rid off any of it first get a good idea of what you have and could use in the future.

Yoh! If these tools could talk? Just trying to figgure out what that copper colour thing is with the rings on both ends.

That thing is going to keep me awake.....

Please someone solve that mystery

The wonky spanner in pic 10 and 13 is used to to tighten old saddle rails. The posts (seatpin) had two bolts on the top of the clamps which use needed to tighten in tandem to level the saddle to the rails.. I would be keen to buy the cable housings for the rear derailleur. 12-15 cm and looks like cable housing without the covering

There are definitely some parts that are not bike related. I removed the ones I knew were not related, but obviously some remained. Still not sure about the copper thing... I won't be selling anything but would rather give away something that would add real value to a vintage rebuild.

There's a lot more in there too. Cable housing and gears.
