How long does it currently take for for a parcel to get from JIMC to Capemail? Last tracking showed in transit on the 27th.

As the crow flies probably 2 days, according to how the Post Office's speedy service delivery pledge is working out probably 2-3 months.

I wanted to send my package to the Aramex DropBox in China, and wait for it, Aliexpress does not ship to China  . So selected the Thailand Aramex Dropbox as it seemed close enough.

So they claim their backlog is sorted, if it is, some people are getting super december pay with all the overtime, but somehow I doubt this is the truth.

I ordered stuff in July.

one of tracking numbers have been reallocated to a new purchase (from OZ), the other shows that the Post sent me a First Notification 12 Nov.

The guy at Cresta PO said I would have gotten a sms from them advising of the package? - Never received notice like that before. Anyone else?

There has been no paper slip notice too.

Need t check out AGS but their Website does not explain how they know where to send your package once it gets to the local country's drop?

You register your address with them on registration and you get a code you have to add to the 2nd address line of your dropbox addresses or at the back of your surname depending on whether there is a 2nd address line option or not.  This is used to ID you on there system and then ships to your address.

Yea also got that email as I've also ended up just saying F-it and re-ordered some small bits that would seem to have gone to SAPO Never-neverland so the race is on between my new order from China to NY to my door with Aramex (Ordered 21 Nov) vs the China to where ever   (Ordered 9 Jul).

 

So yea order of 21 Nov shipped from China via my NY AGS dropbox was delivered yesterday 

Beating out SAPO that still has one of my original orders of 9 Jul somewhere 

 

That speaks volumes about the inefficiency of SAPO I think

Bit off topic, but I bought a part from the USA, that has failed and need to send it back to the Sates for Warranty. Any help on what service will be the most affordable?

My final parcel arrived yesterday. I honestly thought it was gone, so much so I requested a refund like 2 months ago.

 

Order date, June 20th.

Delivery date, January 8th.

 

Almost 6 months. African efficiency right there.
