Ya tell me about it. So luckily there is a happy ending to the story....called the post office branch immediately and managed to get them to take it out of the bag being picked up this afternoon and taken back to Jet Park....thank you to the awesome lady at the branch who helped me!!

 

Raced down there and picked it up. On the tracking system its been at Jet Park since 15 August and never moved until today.

 

According to the stamp at the post office branch its been there since 16 Aug...scratching my head as to how that works? Clearly their system is a problem (but I think we already knew that)

thats the thing with using SAPO (as far as I remember), you get so stressed up and angry about your stuff, then suddenly, some light....and you are just SOOOOO happy that you can get your stuff.

You go there and your crap service-conditioned head tells you to just be calm and friendly so they can help you get your stuff. So you end up leaving the post office a happy chappy in a feel good mood. all is good and well. A proper dopamine high.

Next time you make a purchase your head tells you: "i was happy the last time right? YES I WAS - I must just be patient and calm and friendly and accept that things take longer when I trust state owned entities to get my expensive shopping to me...what can go wrong?"

 

...instead of never ever doing that **** again...EVER. 

 

don't do it, be strong! Say no to SAPO. cheap drugs are bad, upgrade to the expensive stuff and get your high alot faster

Im worried Im going to have the same problem. Tracking showed "failed delivery" last but its not an item they would deliver so it makes no sense.

I cant get hold of anyone who can tell me where it actually is so that I can go collect it.

So interesting thing, I have been using the sapo parcel tracker and a few others which use the same API all gave the same results...

So I figured I would give www.17track.net a go, tried it and it says its at my post office - the correct post office.

Not sure how they get more info than the others but it looks accurate so maybe give that a go.

I received an sms from the PO to collect an overseas parcel today. I thought it was my kit from my March order, but instead it was lenses from a September order. Last in first out...

Will try them in future but wouldn't have helped this time. For interest sake I put in my tracking number to see if they would have had more information but not this time:

I had written off an international delivery that was ordered from ali express in may, it eventually arrived last week, so they are kind of functioning

My thoughts exactly, its the same API so unless the SAPO site just pulls less information there is some dark art involved!

My wife is a bit of a wish.com addict so she is using the app now and likes the idea of seeing things happening on it.

So the tracking from 17track was actually accurate and the parcel has been waiting at my post office for the last week and a half.

Stoked its arrived, now to see if the other 5 missing ones from months ago actually make it.
