Reme Le Hane Posted November 19, 2018 Share Has anyone got a set of Lyne Carbon bars? Been contemplating carbon bars for a while. And with BF coming up who knows, prices may be good so doing some market research. I know when it comes to carbon you don't want to mess around, but lyne seems to have a good name, bought a few things myself so far with no issues. The alternate, aka only other one I know of is CSSIX, which were recommended by a trusted opinion, I think they like 800 to 1k more, so from a pricing point lyne wins, but again, don't wanna cheap out on carbon. Hence checking with the experts. I rather not end up in hospital from cost cutting bars. deanbean Posted November 19, 2018 Share I've got a Farr carbon bar. Not too pricey and I like the flat area next to the stem for the long gravel roads Farrnus and fanievb

NVM: 720 will be way too short, have a 780 now from a 740 that was too short, 720 for me, would be a terrible idea. 760 will probably still work. V18 Posted November 19, 2018 Share I prefer half 680 and half 780. Makes sense if you're one hand dominant. A friend of mine does the left handed stranger... What were we taking about? Dust46 and Captain Fastbastard Mayhem

BikeisLife Posted November 19, 2018 Share Been riding them for a while now, no issues at all. Have survived a pretty heavy crash as well, just the plug is now lodged in the bar. Reme Le Hane

Me rida my bicycle Posted November 19, 2018 Share Lyne's stuff always looks good to me and they keep growing. Don't think you could make a mistake going for it. Other option is Rapide I am riding their Carbon bar and was quite surprised at how good its made and feels. Had a China bar on one of my bikes for a short while that thing flexed like it was made from spaghetti OK given I am rather heavy but still I could see it flex that's how bad it was.
