Cois Posted July 8, 2019 Share Problem. I made a payment over the weekend. Did not even get an email from them acknowledging the payment? I thought the moola would go straight to you?I think the admin side is a bit lacking. Will keep you up to date as soon as I hear something. The funds go to Back a Buddy. As we have expenses I send the invoices to them and they do the payment (or they are suppose to). But it seems (like most expenses that I need to pay before I get the medicine from Dischem, or devices from Cansa, or admission to hospitals) that needs to be claimed from back a buddy is a mission. Cois Posted July 9, 2019 Share Just came from the oncologist. Booked an MRI for the 17th of July. If things look good (and the doctor is positive), he wants the stoma to be reversed. If the tumor reacted well it will be removed as well. So to be honest I can’t wait for the MRI results. ChrisF Posted July 17, 2019 Share Cois we have been having one of those weeks, or rather the last couple of months .... Neighbour is 80+ and her only daughter in SA now has cancer, not doing well ... Friends 8 year old daughter is Type 1 diabetic. Been in hospital a LOT over the last months. She does TWO laps of the kiddies pump track at Bloemendal and her sugar DROPS !! One specialist after the other, her sugar has more ups and downs than a roller coaster .... Just seeing too many friends that are going through tough medical times ..... Cois we really are rooting for you, and hope the tide turns SOON !! Edited July 17, 2019 by ChrisF Cois and BigDL
