Odinson Posted August 28, 2019 Share Bets for the weekend, lads?  Hard to pin it down, but I figure that Bruni (who's now a World Champs specialist) wouldn't want to relinquish the rainbow stripes. Pierron will be hungry for them too. Gwin is back and will want to get the Champs monkey off his back, but I doubt he'll be at the pace of the French. Wildcards will likely be Hart, GM, Vergier, Brosnan.  As for the ladies, I figure it should be between Cabirou and Hannah. I have no idea whether Seagrave is back up to speed, so who knows. Pompon could also upset the apple cart, so I think it's going to be hella fun to watch. MrJacques

Odinson Posted August 28, 2019 Share It's gonna be a French double Be more specific!  I'd love for Pompon to take the win, but it would also be so cool if Cabirou could take it.  Bruni or Pierron for the men.

Vergier with an outside chance, but he's been slightly off the pace recently considering he managed to stay on his bike.If any of those have a bad day or slip-up, it would be mr #2, aka Brosnan.  Cabirou ftw. Wally39 Posted August 28, 2019 Share Strategies are going to be very different this year as opposed to previous years. Still a World Cup race after this, in a very tight season for both men and women. Guys with a shot at the over-all might have that in the back of their minds and not go as hard as they usually would at Worlds? Injury at Worlds could also blow their chances at the over-all. I think Bruni and Hannah might "suffer" from this. Pierron and Cabirou will just go full gas. They are my picks for the winners. kosmonooit Posted August 28, 2019 Share I think you might find that dstv are pushing this as opposed to uci Edit. I see the UK is also blocked due to the BBC.. So it looks like the BBC are showing it... Getflix to the UK and watch thought the BBC sports app I don't see it on the BBC schedule - is there a separate schedule on the sport app? Otherwise struggling to find an option. ... But I did see someone say on the pinkbike article that the bbcsport app will have it.  Best bet would be use a VPN to point to one of the countries not restricted and use redbull tv
