Unbelievable Support from Giant

I was just as impressed with the last call agents, Dragons Sports.

I discovered a crack in my Trance frame just before Christmas.

Sent a photo along with the proof of payment to my lbs the next day at 8am. It was the Friday before they closed for Xmas holidays.

The claim was approved by 10am, but they were very apologetic that the warehouse was closed already and they would only be able to send it after Xmas. I had no problem with that as my staff and myself was already on holiday as well.

The frame was delivered to my lbs on the day that they opened again, just before lunch time.

good to see bike brands etc get some positive coverage....next road will be a giant as well..already ride one...this is re-enforcing my view of the brand at the moment

The local Giant guys have never impressed. Had issues with dropper posts repeatedly and they have done all they can to get out of their warranty responsibility’s.

My brother's 2014 Trance developed a crack on a weld end of last year. They replaced the frame with a brand new one before it had broken.

 

I also had a good experience getting a replacement rear triangle after a crash that left the old one unusable.

Got my bike back yesterday, new frame, new wheels. Super excited to get out on the trails. Because of the 2016 frame having a thru axle, they gave me the wheels at cost minus a subsidy from Giant. happy boy

Last year my 2012 Anthem aluminium frame developed a hairline crack in the same area, and they replaced the frame with a 2018 Advanced carbon one!  Score!  It meant I needed to buy a new rear trunnion shock, but that was a small price to pay for a massive upgrade.

You remind me of the guy who bragged about the amazing pocket knife he inherited from his great grandfather. The 3 generations used it every day for hard work on the farm, blade was only replaced once and the handle only twice and it was as good as the day it was made!

I've done in excess of 9000km on my my 2013 Anthem X1 and haven't had a single issue with it.
