Maybe add some specs on the bike you are riding? People could potentially donate parts.

Edit: Sorry for your loss and current situation.

Can you give the specifics of the wheel you need?

MTB/Road/Size/axle type?

I’m sure someone on here might just be able to sort you out

* Edit: snap

Send me details of the wheel size that you require. 29er, through axle or quick release, freehub

26", Tubeless, 10Spd, with Quick Release.

Why feel bad about asking - Many people in your situation have received tremendous help from hubbers - Yes we tend to play judge, jury and executioner on here but when a fellow cyclist needs help then this is the place to come.

Come on hubbers who has a wheel or wheel set to donate ? I got rid of all my 26" wheels but i'm willing to contribute financially towards a wheel set and do the change over and service Icemans bike to make sure everything is working like a Swiss watch.

Elke bietjie help.

Any way of fixing the wheel - some of the parts may still be usable.

I'm sure someone up there can fix it.

If you were here we would fix it for you.

Not that difficult.

I've got this wheel I can donate. It's practically new and was only used on a IDT for a couple of months.

It's a V-brake rim but has a disc hub with a disc fitted. No cassette or tyre unfortunately. Maybe the $$$ donations can help with that.

Donasie gedoen IcemanGP.

Klou vas, boet, jy gaan hierdeur kom! Ek stem saam, jy het niks om oor skaam te voel nie.

Sien dit as 'n papwiel langs die pad - daar is baie wat gaan help!

I have a glaring question here: Have you confirmed that the rest of the bike is not damaged? The image of a botched repair job on a taxi comes to mind - those taxis that look like they were a crab in their previous lives  :D

I'm not trying to dis your bike, I'm just thinking that there may be something else wrong with the bike on top of the obvious - the wheel.

MadMarc has mentioned giving the bike a "once-over" to confirm the rest of the bike is sorted but I think we need to expect that the frame may also be damaged as well as the rear mech. If the bike got dragged the saddle and bars can also be damaged (even if only cosmetic).

Now IceMan, no need to feel bad hey, stuff happens and people have it rough from time to time! The good news however is that bad things normally happens in 3's and by what I've read it would appear your bad patches are now over

I will throw my hat in the ring here and assist in getting your bike back on the road. I have a tire for you to fit to the wheel from Johnson. I can do the tubeless on it as well, I have everything needed to do it, easy peazy  :D. I do have a lot of other parts I can add into the mix if needed. (Donation made via the link as well)

Then my last question: will you be able to do everything on your ace or are you going to take it to someone? I mean it's pointless having to pay a shop to get it sorted for you - your whole donation will go towards their labor.

I'm based in PTA but am willing to slap the stuff together for you.

i just remembered... I have a box full of 26" stuff that I took off my old bike.  It's mostly Shimano Deore or equivalent.

That includes a Mavic 816 (i think) rim, hub, i also have shifters, brakes, some spokes, nipples, a derailleur, crankset etc.

If you're keen to adopt all these goodies, send me a PM with your address and I'll come drop it off over the weekend.
