You do know you can solve ALL these problems by simply going Vegan

You are only partial correct.

You of course have to tell everyone you come in contact with that you are vegan

Yes. And you can't say I am a vegan. You have to say I am vegan. Because it's far more than a dietary choice. It's a VERB.

Oh cry me a river... on the other side of Stellenbosch there's land invasions and farmers getting shot but here we're concerned about one oke riding on a half built trail... let's get real peeps, there's bigger things to worry about in this country.

So the police should ONLY investigate Murder cases and stay away from land invasion?

After all, burglary and drunk driving, domestic violence is not up there. And forget about speeding, no one had died yet.

In keeping, you should then forsake all other riding and ONLY concentrate on World Records!

Remember, start at the top, the rest doesn't matter......

I'm not saying it isn't an issue but this "we" issue seriously grates my tits. I'm doing more than my bit to try catch the motorbikers and hi-jackers hanging around on the the Bottelary Hills trails as well but to banish all mtber's because of one oke? Really? For all they know it could be kids mucking about after school... or a farm worker? Are we all expected to now go and do trail patrol after work?

I don't know the farmer or the trails but I can you assure you this is not the first incident - more like the last straw that broke the back of the camel

Ja always a pain when the odd idiot messes things up for everyone.

what if a group of locals go to the farmers house, spades (not pitch forks) in hand, and offer serious amounts of manual labour to help build and repair trail, to show him your appreciation for allowing you to use his land.

I like this.

Complaining without providing a solution is just plain old bitching and moaning.

It would be best that trails like these are for paid permit holders only. Because it is free to ride it is completely overcrowded and maintenance is very high. More e-bikers will also be added to this crowd.

Still does not stop rogue riders, permits are for the honest riders, rogue riders would not care either way.

Also won't solve the overcrowding as we will all buy permits anyway.

So we solve neither problem, but help pay for the maintenence, which is still a good thing.

Only way we stop rogue ridding is legalised assault and weapon carrying, a few dead rogue riders and the message will spread.

There are very few rogue riders on permit trails, riders with permits become like trail police and then rogue riding becomes much less of a problem, it almost completely disappears. Not everybody will buy permits, but the more permits bought the more money can go into the trail or back to the land owner. The number of permits can be limited. It is better for mtb if access to trails are managed and paid for.

Is this a sequel to Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick?

Potentially a prequal, first we start with rogue riders, then to "non indicators", maybe a few taxis... [emoji23]
