Hi all,

I don’t often ask for help, but a good friend, fellow cyclist and Hubber has lost his kitty close to the Prom in Sea Point.

Please share this Tweet if you can, or just keep and eye out if you aren’t on social media but ride that route often.

If you help find him, I’ll buy a Qhubeka bike on your behalf.

No, but you are carrying on like a female dog.

Hehehehe

Don't be so sensitive.  I meant it well when I said the cat might not feel loved - if you know the general character of cats you will understand my statement.

You referred to the cat's dad as your friend - therefore your friend is a male cat?   :whistling:

(which is also a fellow cyclist and a hubber)

End of the month capture and release for a reward is all too common in CT.

Never negotiate with terrorists.

I hope they find their Kitty.

we have a quite reclusive black persian that is 14years old at this stage. She and the two dogs are big buds. a Few months ago she disappeared for 6 weeks. she NEVER goes out. We thought she went to go die somewhere on her own (they do that). We even took back the new/unopened food we had purchased. a week later she pitches up like she was on a soul searching holiday or something... a bit thin, and hella dirty....but nothing else. Still going strong, really think she is going to outlast the dogs even lol.

they explore on a whim and unless they are VERY friendly to all strangers...tend to hide when they feel threatened. He might be in someone's garage even. unless he really was purposefully hurt or stolen...chances are he'll be back if it hasn't been more than a 2 weeks. especially males as mentioned....they are walkers. Saw this program once where they mount GPS's to domestic cats and some of them go as far as 2km away from home in a single evening while you sleep lol.

Edit:when We still lived in JHB a few years back...we moved into a new place in Parktown north and the first 2 nights a cat was calling at the front of the house. With some effort I managed to lure it in with some food (saw it had a tag)...phoned the number. Turned out this cat was from Linden (about 6-10km away)

Sometimes they tend to get trapped/ stuck/ locked in places for days maybe even weeks. If there's a constant supply of water, they can go up to 3 weeks. Biggest threat is a careless driver.

Hope they find the little guy.

I think you should rather just go comment on another thread.
