Second ever WT break from BOC. TDD have pivoted!

Nice break and should stick. Cavagna is the obvious stand out there if he gets over the last lump in touch. Craddock also with his ability to climb well and a track background for the finish.

I don't enjoy this kind of run-in, where nobody wants to work, so nobody catches the lone ranger.

I like the Amstel Gold run-in where the chasers gave it their all and they successfully catch the leaders.

Well done to the solo rider, he nailed it!

Today’s finalè suits oom Valverde with a 12% grade wall of about 2 kms within a sniff of the white chalk

Gonna be a good final 30 mins ????

8km downhill finish after they crest that climb.

GC contenders will try do drop each other here and make a dive for the finish line.

Jumbo Visma will do well to get someone up the road in the break to be able to wait at the top for Roglic and give him some pulls in the run-in to the line, either to recover some time lost or to maximize the gap to those he left behind...

Gonna be fun.

So, similar to last year's World Champs....?

Oh, I see your point...

IIRC, 2018 stage 19 in TdF was vaguely similar though not as steep, but saw Rog vanish down the final descent

Jumbo Vista must just follow the Team Sky blueprint and they should win the race.  They certainly have the necessary firepower to do it.

100km into the stage and no attack has stuck, guys have been giving it everything but the response is just too much every time.

Willie Smit off the front now.

70km to the finish line...
