The old guard should be afraid, very afraid. As far as GC is concerned one can perhaps add Pavel Sivakov to the list. He might not be as flashy or prodigious as the 4 you mentioned but won the Tours of Alps and Pologno this season and finished 9th in the Giro (while being part of a very inexperienced team) Not bad for a rider who just turned 22.
