Had a close call this morning.

Took the mtb out today as our roads were still muddy.

Car almost clipped me from behind, managed to jump out the way but hit a pile of dirt next to the road.

Short story, had a nice fall as I didnt unclip fast enough.

Tyre debeaded and I could not get it seated again.

Luckily one of my customers came past and gave me a lift to work.

Be carefull out there.

This was my closest shave yet!

Damn Man. Glad you ok. Could have been worse.

Respect. Well Done Eddie.

@Eddie, do you do any other riding? What is your total for Jan?

Thank you.

I did some road riding over weekends last year, but this year my weekends and off days are taken up by running.

124km running and only 1024km rides thus far for January.

I'm on +-40km a week running, and +-300km a week commuting. ;)

That is a 124km more running than I have done .... only time I run is if the police are chasing me!

Thanks, all good.

It is scary how quick things can happen.

I luckaly looked back as I didnt even hear the car.

Dont know how fast the car wad going, by the time I was back on my feet it was gone.

Just a wake up call incase I needed one.

I only got back Wednesday this week, so 3 days in the bag thus far.

Nothing to worry about here.

I'm sure we've heard this last year towards the end of the year when there was no danger about you being a contender for podium - and we all know how THAT turned out :P

Wow glad you're ok and awake now without having to wake up in hospital ...

Glad I did not end in Hospital.

Had a rather wet commute home today.

May just take the car tomorrow as the road will be sludge.

Photos was taken before any vehicles came by to turn the road to mud!
