using the saddle bag and no rattles etc, doesnt touch the seatpost so no damage or scuffing.

Had 2 fall off - no failsafe if the Velcro goes - didn’t notice till I got a puncture 50km from home on a Saturday - far down a windy gravel road. One angry wife

Great looking bag but R250 too expensive!

They are cheaper if you order them directly from the guy who makes them. And he can make them custom out of different materials/colours to suit your bike. I'd rather pay a little extra for something handmade and quality from South African cyclist than just another product from the production line.

None, I got rid of saddle bags a looooong time ago. They are more of a PITA than anything. I have not needed on on either road or mtb rides of 20 to 400km unsupported so......

I have seldom used it on my own bike ... but the one time I did a 5km loop at Meerendal with the toolbag left in the car was the ONE time that I NEEDED it  :wacko:   :ph34r:

 

 

I often stop to help other riders.  So my kit gets used regularly  :thumbup:
