75k for Carbon 3 with alu wheels and mix of SLX / Deore is very steep at any rate and more so in these times where manufacturers + shops are running specials. Insane tech and sexy bikes still!

I think bikes like the Scalpel SE is going to become the new mainstream sellers - 120mm travel, 2.3 tyres, dropper. Perfect for a 3 day event mid field.

Re price, sadly that looks like the new normal, better get used to it.

Its a great looking bike but I think the price is mad for the base model. I wonder what a frame alone will cost?

BTW, the Spesh Epic has a flex stay too. Come to think of it, this looks a lot like an Epic.

The epics flexy stay is on the seat stay like the Scott, Scalepl Si, Merida, DengFu, Supercaliber, KTM Scarpe, Cube etc etc. Cannondale held the patent for the carbon Flexing chainstay and probably renewed it with this new design

I want the one that's valued at 199

Is that an elektroniese gruppo?

Its says AXS, and you can see the battery knob sticking off the rear derailleur .. so yes.

Must have made Cannondale execs pretty unhappy to have held this one back during launch, waiting for Sram to announce the 10-52 Eagle cassettes. Remember everyone asking Where is the top-shelf model?

Current frame is R46k + lefty at R28K for the Ocho excluding Headset. Don't need to have the headset of course.

I suspect the 2021 frames will between R50-52K for the Hi Mod and around R36K for the Ballistec

SE looks amazing... definitely a bike for stage racing

And that SiD is pretty darn nice too! Might actually take that one over the Lefty Ocho bike....
