If you aren't able to find him take it to the bank tomorrow, they will be able to contact him.

Found him. Returned the wallet. Unfortunately I called one of the banks and asked that they could contact him. They said they would contact him. They asked for the card name / number. Cancelled the card and said they would call him to say his card had been cancelled but couldn’t pass on my details for him to come get the rest. Felt a bit bad about that but managed to get everything else back via a different contact.
