117 Posted March 22, 2022 Share Im toying with the idea of putting a rigid on the carbon frame. I'm not a thaba rider, but I do the odd single track from time to time. Hmm.... wonder if you'll let me lose on that ride of yours to check out the fork? 🤡 TheoG

Just a bit of a warning, it might be a bit more bumpy that you think, even on the gravel it can be bone shaking, but you used to hardtail, so maybe not so bad for you ... . 117
Super Sywurm Posted April 11, 2022 Share Stanton has some nice specials at the moment. Not sure about the importing cost. https://www.stantonbikes.com MORNE

Yusran Posted April 11, 2022 Share Not really relative to the discussion at hand however, I don’t think I’ll be riding another bike for MANY years to come. Steel on the road, steel in the mountains. Steel all the way. It just works. MajG, Prince Albert Cycles, Hairy and 4 others

It’s a little DIY job that I made at 10pm the night I was supposed to leave, so I only have really poor pictures of it in the dark. I’ll take some on the weekend when it’s on the bike again! Yusran Posted April 11, 2022 Share Just now, Yusran said: It’s a little DIY job that I made at 10pm the night I was supposed to leave, so I only have really poor pictures of it in the dark. I’ll take some on the weekend when it’s on the bike again! Clips onto my top box rack and rests ontop of the pannier racks, so once you strap the bike down in front it’s super stable. Going to remake it at some point to hold the bike at the BB or pedal so I can take the back wheel off too.

I’ll take some on the weekend when it’s on the bike again! That is awesome, and I particularly love the idea you made it at 10pm the night before you needed it! Forces you to make decisions and not faff around, but just get the job done and not try to over engineer everything. Looking forward to v2.0 Yusran, Frosty and ChrisF

Patent it and sell it to Thule…like they bought out Imbi bike savers and are now selling them for 4x what they used to cost lol Edited April 11, 2022 by MORNE Yusran

That would fix many financial woes I do love riding my bikes though, super glad I can ride both the braap machine and the pedal machine on the same weekend’s away now. Steady Spin Posted April 12, 2022 Share https://www.chamberlains.co.za/quick-fist-original-rubber-clamps-25-57mm-2-pack-10010-1084349 Here is your solution at a fraction of the price. Fits a Fox 34 or Pike perfectly. Thule can go fly a kite in a thunderstorm.
