They did!

Roglic is about 4  minutes back from Rudy Mollard. 

I believe they were not happy to have to 'defend' red for nearly 3 weeks.

The race gets super spicy from here. Some pretty crazy stages next week.

The racing at Vuelta is so much fun

those Spaniards don't muck about. but in between the brutal climbs, there are the brutal motorway sections that are less than fun for everyone. I like that it's desperation stakes for all the teams that haven't gotten much out of the year's racing so far. Keenly watching Movistar and their relegation struggle - will the oom rescue them?

Oops. I haven't seen the GC ladder. Just watched highlights. It's a perfect scenario so they do not have to carry the burden of red.

I think it's shaping up nicely. 

I don't think Quick-step will defend red from here. I think that was a flex to check the legs. 

Mas with 33 seconds on Roglic is interesting. Movistar need points and a GC win on a GT would be massive.

I think a minute can be won or lost on a day with Remco, so I don't think JV are too concerned there.

It’s a long way to Stage 21. It’s certainly juicy now to see how the charismatic Remco and the Steppers handle the GC high winds.

Gotta be impressed with Jay Vine, the Zwifter PRO, who won his first race.
