Was on the trainer watching, and thinking Kasper was the best for a sprint, IF they could stay say. That 9-12 second gap in the closing Kms held firm for a lot longer than I thought.

That 3rd podium spot makes for intriguing racing before Sunday’s stroll to Paris. If Pogačar and his team is concealing illness, injury or exhaustion/depletion in some form, it makes for even further intrigue and drama with regard to the 2nd step.
Undoubtedly, an unusual top 10 deep into week 3 of the TdF:

Would have been nice to see Louis in that mix, so sad that he is out ... 😪

I don't think the race for 3rd is going to be that interesting actually.

Adam Yates has a decent buffer, and has shown to be ahead of the rest of the pack.

He will want a 3rd place, UAE would be smart to help him get it too, beceause he's a superdom and a support now to help for next year again would be a great investment.

JV will protect their massive lead on yellow, no Kussklaps required.

AYates GT history, a third here will prove 2016 was no fluke (like Bardet/Pinot et al).

but that's from my desk, what normally happens is the guy with the best legs makes the biggest gains.

Thought the same when i looked at top10. Proper proper riders up there.

Top2 was expected (for me atleast),

both Yates have been impressive since their stage1 show,

really like Hindley and expected him to be with top5,

Gall is the surprise package even with his solid performance in TDS

Any take on Chris Froome for next year's Tour ?

Is there a chance less than zero? When hell freezes over, like The Eagles said?

I think they now called it quits didn't they? Maybe Chris needs to do the same...
