Weirdly I am in the opposite camp - I don't care who is bot or not. I'd rather have a bunch of bots, than do a 70km TT.
And on some of the recent events that were single pen with no bots, the last riders finished 10-20 minutes after the winner - not what I would consider a fun race.

In the regular races (I try to only do one or two a week now, don't want to end up burnt out again like during lockdown-Zwift) you eventually recognise the names of the humans, so you can choose to only react to them.

So, watching some of the Esports World Champs - is it just me, or does the speed not seem at all accurate? The ladies are riding at around 32km/h but it looks very slow. And even when they've accelerated to 40km/h+, it doesn't seem any faster.

Now that its wet all teh time i need to get onto MyWhoosh again. but i  cant get it started  
on win11  it keeps saying no internet connection .
i have reinstalled it twice and made sure all win updates are up to date. anyone else had issues or solved this ?

In my case it said the graphic card drivers must be upgraded .... just kept going in a loop ....

I tried to download it via my Apple TV, it just hangs after telling me that it needs to download something like 5GB's worth of additional data. At least I tried 😁

Ai Chris 😪 - sadly my hardware is also no longer up to scratch since the upgrade to V5

I now use BikeTerra, also free, not near the quality and functionality that the other fancy ones have but works for me!

I don't use it for the scenery or to 'race' anyone anyway, just a distraction to get through indoor rides on the odd occasion I feel like I need to due to the weather etc.

I got tired of this continual software upgrades.  Not nice when the morning exercise starts with .... loading .... loading ... updating ....

 

Sold the trainer setup and got a spinning bike.  For a warm-up session this is PERFECT.

 

Pretty sure I can watch Netflix and keep turning the pedals for longer rides if our weather gets bad enough ....

I think they are being "good" to me, I have not had issues with it since the beginning, the updates are a pain in the backside, but they have come leaps and bounds with features. I will be the leach to use it until it becomes a paid service, currently trying to get my fitness back.

I continually struggle with the accuracy and “realness” of mywhoosh on my Tacx Flux. The power often drops and doesn’t simulate the change of grades well at all. Indievelo (now Training Peaks) was amazing when it was free, but would rather pay for zwift if I’m going to pay for an app. Any other free options besides mywhoosh and biketerra?

I did this to fix this issue when I moved to win11 the other day and encounter this problem.

Method

1.- Open CMD as Administrator and run the first command, certutil -generateSSTFromWU roots.sst This will create the certificate "roots.sst", I found mine on the "C:\windows\system32" folder 2.- Import the certificate using powershell. Open powershell as Administrator and run the following command: Import-Certificate -Filepath C:\yourfilepath\roots.sst -Certstorelocation Cert:\LocalMachine\Root

Just note there are a lot of certificates you will need to click through when you run this but once I did that MyWhoos is working again for me.

I got mine to update yesterday after  doing the risky nuclear approach:
1: uninstalled my Whoosh
2: removes all traces from app data
3: removed all registry settings 
4: reinstalled and loaded  sucsesfully

I have the Apple Ipad air M2 13". Personally I feel all of these apps just run better on it. For full disclosure I have a high spec PC as well and prefer running it off the Ipad, with some kind of entertainment running off the pc

Even on my MacBook Air it runs well.. I haven’t experienced any of the above moans and groans 🤷🏼‍♂️
