It's the closest trail to my garage door.

Perfect for a quick engine boosting session.

 

Perfect mix of terrain as well - singletrack, rocky ascents, switchbacks

And good coffee on-site

mmm, pity I liked your post before you edited it.

 

Why not rather haul ass up the green corridor to Conters/Bloemendal and at least have some fun while you train.

Unfortunately not today.  Couple weeks back on the way home from Helderberg.

I know I know, not a majorly long manual, but going around 44km/h (topped out on the 34t) and my hands are a bit tired after Helderberg's DH.

That's my longer training routes

Haven't been there for a while though with road training.

Scary being chased by them. Got chased a while back just outside Worcester on the road to De Doorns. Got out of my saddle pretty smartly and really got moving
