flymango Posted September 21, 2013 Share A nice muddy 52km in the Durbanville Hills Are the trails still super-muddy or are they rideable at the moment? Worth venturing onto either Sunday or Tuesday?
BrandonF_ Posted September 21, 2013 Share Are the trails still super-muddy or are they rideable at the moment? Worth venturing onto either Sunday or Tuesday? Hillcrest are mudless, down Kliprug not too bad, and a few patches at Contermans, I'd say definitely rideable, not too bad flymango

Wyatt Earp Posted September 22, 2013 Share Started the day today in a cold a very windy Midrand for a 5 hour road bike ride. We started from our LBS and headed off to Paulshof and from there through to Randburg, from there through Rosebank and towards Constitution Hill.I love Jo'Burg city and it's architecture with all the graffiti as well. The old Hillbrow tower now known as the Telkom tower. (Excuse the quality of the pics, they were taken with a cell phone except for the night shot) http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2820/9876237013_a9d9152d5f_b.jpgIMG_1035 by OddPix1, on Flickr Edited September 22, 2013 by Wyatt Earp
Wyatt Earp Posted September 22, 2013 Share From there up the steeper section of Constitution Hill and off to the old trial holding cells. http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5518/9876199825_c3d9d1e5f4_b.jpgIMG_1025 by OddPix1, on Flickr Edited September 22, 2013 by Wyatt Earp

Wyatt Earp Posted September 22, 2013 Share From there further up and over the hill towards Braamfontein and over the Nelson Mandela bridge. The Burry Stander ghostbike is no longer on the bridge  This pic is one I took on a Critical Mass when the bike was still there. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8521/8602748032_c00a73ee35_b.jpgJo'Burg-33 by OddPix1, on Flickr
