I would bury them, each separately, on a beach somewhere; WITHOUT the hanging ribbon;

…you may then give SEVERAL metal-detector ‘sweepers’ SEVERAL ‘heart-attacks’, when they discover the lost Bullion….

If you find someone keen to take them please update this topic. I've got a bag waiting to be donated..

I know Red Cross children's hospital used to take them but last reference I can find was 10yrs ago.

I have loads of medals. I'm interested how you actually use them though

Way back when, they used to give them to the kids undergoing treatment at Red Cross.

Dunno, if I was a kid being given an old medal I'd ask where the lollipops were..

Put them all on a nice blazer...get a general's cap and a monocle...

Good idea @guidodg ☝️

A few Efrican statesmen did this to great effect during the past few decades 🫡

I believe some still do to this day ....

I just gave all my medals to a gentleman who gives toys/medals to kids going through cancer treatment, I can DM you his number.

That would be great, thank you.

I did contact Red Cross Children's Hospital, which was the last reference I could find to such a scheme (in 2017) and they said they no longer accept medals due to safety risks. Not sure if that's infection control, strangling or choking hazards.
