Where can I donate used medals in Cape Town?

Contact your local CHOC office, i know they used to take them but not sure they still do.

If you find someone keen to take them please update this topic. I've got a bag waiting to be donated..

I know Red Cross children's hospital used to take them but last reference I can find was 10yrs ago.

Way back when, they used to give them to the kids undergoing treatment at Red Cross.

Dunno, if I was a kid being given an old medal I'd ask where the lollipops were..

I just gave all my medals to a gentleman who gives toys/medals to kids going through cancer treatment, I can DM you his number.

That would be great, thank you. 

I did contact Red Cross Children's Hospital, which was the last reference I could find to such a scheme (in 2017) and they said they no longer accept medals due to safety risks. Not sure if that's infection control, strangling or choking hazards.
