Good day,

Looking into the KarooRak 4 Hydro bike rack. Seems an amazing concept and an easier load than most bike carriers out there.

Has anyone had any experience with these? Are they worth the price?

Whenever I see this rack, it makes me sad.

On the flipside, the number of R1m + cars I see with 200k worth of bikes flapping about on one of those clip on 2 stick jobs never ceases to amaze me.

I reckon if you're using it often enough, especially shuttling, it'll be more than worth the investment.

this is me when i mount my platform rack and bike to my cockroach…I mean driving appliance…i mean car.

I’d never buy a roof mounted bike rack again after driving into the garage with bikes up top. It looks like one could make the same mistake with this rack. Or would the wheels be lower than a standard garage door?

Sorry to let you know, but that was not the fault of the bike, the rack or the garage.........😉
