Hi guys, sorry for the radio silence. Thanx for the replies. Once more question. I just got a ranger double cab, do you think some of these which have the flap for the tail gate handle, might let a person keep that flap up so when you reverse the rear view camera is not covered?

I haven't seen any with anything to hold that flap open, but have seen many people doing many different macguyver moves to keep that flap open, loads of things you could potentially do

must be a Ranger thing, needing a camera to reverse  :D

Must be an Isuzu driver, not having a back-up Camera.

As a Ranger driver, I do not deny using the reverse camera. All the time. Makes hooking up trailers daily a breeze when going solo.
Side note, I took off the canopy last week to load a flow bin, and now that canopy will be parked in my warehouse until winter. No blind spots, easy loading of stuff, chuck a blanket over the back and shuttle. So much room for activities.

too true lol. two things I actually miss in my Isuzu are a reverse camera and an auto box. N1 mornings and a manual box don't play well together.

Hi gents, the small Titan tailgate one, how have you found this, could you really load 3 x bikes?

https://bike-addict.co.za/products/titan-tailgate-pro-50

I have a roller shutter on my bakkie, the available width is 1.1m, so cant use these large standard sized ones. Seems only option is the Titan pro 50, which for the price, does not look bad actually.

Make sure they have stock before you doll out the cash. Buddy of mine responded to one of these ads they posted a while ago and decided to drive all the way to Malmesbury only to be told "no stock" and "won't be getting new stock in again". . .

Has anyone bought this little guy, and if so, does it work fine?

I have the large titan racing one and it isn’t a perfect fit for the ford Ranger. Have to pull and tug to get the matertial not to constrict the tailgate from closing. Once it’s on it’s good quality but the tie down straps are too short to loop around my frame so will have to find a way to extend them. They haven’t updated the design to the size of new mountain bikes. (Also, in general don’t know why they would be so sparse with strap lengths, it’s super annoying) Loops perfect on older skinnier frames.

Thats how the race face one fits on a Ranger (The only bakkie that really matters)IMG_2436.jpeg.c97bddacc821555920a500c42d6284b2.jpeg

Never mind the bakkie, that brake hat on your front wheel is a new thing I'm learning today. Noice.

Titan racing make a 2 piece setup, you can space them out or have them just overlap depending on bakkie size. Also means there is a gap in middle for the reverse camera

Haha! Can’t remember where I found those but they work lekker. Need to see if I can find a place that can put some new velcro on there tho.
