Prices of all sealant products are ridiculous. Got the recipe and now mix my own. Works perfectly over last 4 months, not watery or big rubber clots (a stans problem)

Best part is that 4 liters of the stuff cost me less than 50% of a Stans 500 ml

If you want I will gladly post the recipe

The low pressure on a MTB allows the use of more types of sealant.

Adding gravel tyres means higher pressures, and thus the list of options reduce.

Thus I started using Enduroseal.

It does the job, it lasts, it cuases less muck in the tyres than the previious product.  It works good for all our bikes.

Sadly CL took it off their shelves to make way for MuchOff products.

I now buy it from other bikeshops or from SportsmansWarehouse.

For mtb, I find Stans Race sealant to be the best. The race sealant has fibres and a grit like substance which seem to work really well at sealing. Check it every 3 months and top up or replace as needed and you are golden.

I hear a mix of regular Stan's and Stan's Race lasts longest.

Stans for me.

Note on their race sealant .. it works so well that you have to break the bead to get in the tire. Through the valve core it simply blocks the hole
