Bear in mind WP2 is at around 45km (where you cross the tar road), before you start the climb in the kloof up to the KOM.

I assumed he meant the climb up to the KOM 🙂

Jo-han, spend a bit of time on Strava or Google Earth and really study the route so that you know what to expect from WP to WP. This will help manage your expectations and effort on the day. You must save as much as you can for the last 50km.
