As an aside ... it occurs to me once a rider has gone 'E' there's no going back, someone I know did the 'I'm getting one while I get over this temporary illness' then was going back to his proper bike. Has since recovered, chipped the old one, bought a newer more powerful, longer life one and I'm sure a chip will be 'inserted' as soon as his finances have recovered. Maar nou ja hier sit ons ....

Maybe captain ebike is an ex-analogue rider who is now getting his revenge for all the times he was dropped by the skinnies in the group.
