Stretch Posted October 21, 2013 Share Without a doubt, my favourite album of the year..a breath of fresh air. Almost certainly my favourite band...although that has nothing to do with my best album vote http://www.soundsbetterwithreverb.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/kitchens-of-distinction-folly-400x400.jpg One of the more subdued tracks...but incredible guitars
Uni Posted October 21, 2013 Share I like that this thread is exposing me to music I might not normally listen to. Here's one of my favorite more "obscure" bands - The Drovers - first discovered and fell in love with their stuff from the Blink movie. They don't have any videos though, so just listen  Edited October 21, 2013 by Uni
deanbean Posted October 21, 2013 Share I've been re-listening to some of the music that took me away from the bubblegum pop, loved these songs, reminds me of some of the clubs we used to frequent in PMB, Durban and Cape Town.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIqESwzCGg4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U625wIf9ABwEnjoyed this one, more than other more popular Clash songs, Go straight to hell, and Jimmy Jazzhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8u6t_nFufoI never liked the Pistols though, not that much Josh0

deanbean Posted October 21, 2013 Share what did you used to frequent in durbs and pmb?I can't remember the names of the clubs, too long ago, and too much other stuff. In PMB there was a club around '84 that opened that played a lot of punk, garage band music and the like. Durbs, I cannot remember, even where the places were TBH.
