Goodbye for now dear friends

It was with a sad heart that I viewed the 'Access Denied' screen. The day had come. My work access to TheHub had been restricted.

So it is with a heavy heart that I bid farewell to my daytime friends. I luckily have Internet Access at home, but it's on dialup, so my post count is sure to drop.

SOB!

Ah well, it had to happen eventually, maybe I'll get more work done!

Ok.. maybe admin can make this sticky...

for anyone who has facebook/thehubsa/animal porn sites blocked at work

or just search on google for anonymous proxy. Theres loads of web anonymizers that are impossible to block.

MichH, I think what Epoh is suggesting is that you use the 3G card at work. I run iBurst at work (which I pay for myself) as I find it much less hassle than having to deal with the work's internet and mail server. It is in full view of my boss and he has never complained about it.

Can you imagine what will happen to the Commencal sales if you're not online to promote their bikes during the daytime? Can't have that now can we! smiley2.gif

Mich, do they have tour permission to block you? Heard it on the radio Monday afternoon that they have to get your permission to monitor or block your access. If it's in your employment aggreement and you accepted, they can do it.

think you might have problems there - it is the work's "property" for business.

Does not matter. The same as they specify that you are not allowed to missuse the phones for personal use the same way they must specify use of the internet.
