Surely it's pushing the chain against the stay?

DMR and Gusset tensioners can run either way. It's actually preferable to run it like Percy has, but some frames won't allow it. Once you have the chain tension right there's hardly any movement and so, no slack that will slap against the chainstay.

Can a dude not just post a picture of his pride and joy without someone giving an expert opinion instead of actually just giving a simple compliment .

Nice bike Perczyn.

Pull your horns in...it is a nice bike ...and we learn something new every day

Updated pics. 99% done.

Just needs pedals (XT arriving today) and then a red seat post clamp and small red spacer once the new Easton stem is fitted.

Sweet ride Percyzn! Those wheels are bling, who built them and how much $$$

Nope . you cant see clearly in th pic but its just inside . its how DMR recomend it, they say you have more chain contact with the rear sproket this way . i got the same setup and it works like a bomb .

Yes, correct. I will post a better pic of it sometime.

They were built by Bjorn Zorger at W2 Cycling in Hilton. They are awesome.

Better pics of the tensioner.

From experience, I found the tensioner roller noisy and the vibration tends to loosen the tensioner arm. Replace the roller with a derailer sprocket or something similar.

My 2 cents worth.
