I've been following this BS! Hope Saints get to play🫰🏽
  3. I agree, but if Gall ends up being 'the next best' I doubt there will be much help from Decathlon anyway With the ITT tomorrow there will be a big shift in the GC I just don't think 1st and 2nd in GC play nicely with each other, especially as Jonas didn't need or plan to win the stage, just take time out of the others. The post race reports all say the team had no intention of contesting the win yesterday until by chance, they were contesting the stage win. Vingagaard races a little more like the GC battles of old. Small time gaps here and there, limits losses when he has to and tries to take time or win stages without taking risks. Sitting in the wheel of Gall was exactly what he will do every time until he knows he has enough gas in the tank to go flat out to finish. One cannot expect him to suddenly race differently because the Pog isn't there
  4. Saturday was one of that lekker cold winter mornings in cape town with mist, 6'c and nice clear sunrise and frozen toes 🤣
  5. Jonas and Visma must start praying that they won't need Decathlon in days to come. You can never have enough friends in the peloton.
  6. Although I agree with that in principle, I think in this case Jonas would have benefitted from sharing the workload as he would have taken more time on all other GC contenders whilst keeping the delta to Gall constant. He is the stronger rider so would have still taking Felix in the sprint anyway. I am all for riding clever but in this case I fear the Dane has simply lots goodwill. Strictly my views so fire away with those counter opinions

  8. the pliers wrench from Knipex, what a tool. I now have them stashed everywhere and still haven't rounded a bolt with them yet
  9. Hmm methinks maybe the Chinese are coming. Specialized alos dropped their ebike prices by up to 27% after the Avinox launched. Watch this space. Now what do you say to your loyal followers as you just eroded a sh*t load of their value? Bike depreciation is real. You are lucky to sell your bike for 50% of original purchase price two years later. Cars and motorbikes (which are mostly cheaper) don't depreciate like that. Also bike demand is starting to be impacted by increases in fuel prices as people move to commuting again so second hand prices will start to stabilise, but the guys buying high end Specialized arent in that market.
  10. After a great season, some plonker behind a tree threatens to derail the whole thing. But Boro owner not unknown to sue sue sue. We wait n see what happens. If anything. Crazy situation and it’s not due to a man behind a tree that Boro could not score in the first 45 minutes of the game at their pitch. That was an onslaught of biblical proportions but alas couldn’t score in a brothel. going to try get my grubby paws on final tix today. We live in hope.
  11. Really? Why would you help your rivals? This is bike racing, not kumbaya Anything to get him to burn a few extra matches, have to recover a touch more, get in his head etc It's not like he was cheating, being malicious or operating outside of the rules. They were racing and Vingagard was holding the cards. Decency has nothing to do with race tactics and winning.
  12. Right now people have less to spend and it's a case of lower prices or don't make the sale. Definitely not isolated to Specialized and imminent new products as I'm seeing the same across our international industrial suppliers at the moment. Feels like a try and cover your costs and ride out the wave moment in time.
  13. Just a pity he hadn't had the decency of helping Gall with a pull or two. Only to jump him at the end.
  14. Mr Beers is surely riding around on the new crux if he is hiding bikes on the socials. Unbound launch for sure I reckon.
  15. Yesterday
  16. Sonwabo is very accommodating (way more than any of the front desk staff). He will assist and make the required arrangements if you explain your situation. There is ample storage available. PM me if you need assistance with chatting to him.
  17. Alan only 2 mins behind Jonas today 💪
  18. Yes - they pretty much turn a bicycle into a tricycle.
  19. Try here:
  20. At this time of a Sunday night I can't explain the physics that keeps a bike upright and allows it to turn, BUT.... What I can tell you is that fairy wheels act as a lever lifting the back wheel off the ground when the bike leans over, so instead of the bike turns and rights itself, it just becomes unstable. Don't do it
  21. Phones not working for past 2 weeks; Lady on the front desk ‘unsure’…! ( but honest thanks for suggestion!) Cheers Chris
  22. Gritty stuff by the Maglia Rosa. The jersey seem to add an extra 0.5 watts/kg in the finalè. @veloncc
  23. It’s about 20 mins from Riyadh towards Edge of the World, 2 hours east of there. There’s a number of dirt tracks which all link together so can tailor make the ride longer or shorter. When it cools down later in the year we’ll be able to travel a bit further to explore more.
  24. As a girl mom I can really, strongly, recommend against training wheels. They were the downfall of my daughter’s early riding and it took me ages to get her back on a bike (this time without training wheels).
  25. maybe phone them or pop down during lunchtime this week to find out.
  26. Where about in Riyadh are you riding. Is that toward "Edge of the World?"
  27. Sunday B.U.M.P…..
