  1. Past hour
  2. Had a look at the app now, pretty cool and will try it out. One request, you have high and low speed compression, but only a single setting for rebound. Could you add high and low speed rebound? The Fox GRIPX2 for damper has both.

  5. Hi again, Android is finally in testing and a few weeks away from going live. If anyone is interested in being a tester. Please drop me a DM with your email so I can add you to a test group for the Play Store testing. The iOS version is also getting a few updates thanks to your feedback. Thanks!
  6. Leaked pictures of the supposed sl9 on the web suggest a deeper fork to make the speed sniffer less prominent, and a canyon aeroad esque aero optimised rear end. Given how common supposed “leaks” are these days I presume it might be a marketing tactic. Whether that is the real bike I guess we’ll wait and see. Would be interesting if companies leaked false images and a full venge like aero bike surfaced.
  7. Jip new bike coming, Remco testing for 69 days before TDF. Is it going to be a hyperbike, back to the Venga aero bike days?
  8. And yet still overpriced... Grabs coat and runs 👀
  9. Suspect SL9 will make an appearance at TdF.
  10. Launch of the new crux is also coming…
  11. Yup likely SL 9 within a few months. Same as all the Epic 8s on huge discount. Any new model immediately makes the old one unusable and a death trap 🤣
  12. I’m dumbstruck at how heavily discounted Specialized bikes are at the moment. SL8 is now R170k compared to R220k a few weeks ago. Is there an imminent launch of a new Tarmac or what?
  13. You had him Top 20 on GC in the Tour de France at one stage if I remember

  16. Looking GOOD Now to search for this foam in SA.
  17. Oh yeah, those blow-molded cases don't offer much in the way of flexibility or expansion. What about something like Kaizen/Shadow foam in a big toolbox?
  18. Last ... but NOT least ... Okay, I see the basic issue ... the mass products in SA, like INCGO, comes in size fit boxes. It works well, until you add a belt clip ... also no space for the extra bits. Their solution for 'on the go" is medium and large soft bags/boxes. Just a big open space where everything is stacked on top of each other .... I may copy an idea from from the photography world .... velcro strips to create separate pockets inside the bag. Allows adjustability for the tools needed for that project. In my garage I am leaning towards the stealth mount option, for the batteries and the tools. Potentially in a cupboard ... need to test fit and see how practical it is ... possibly better options for the tools ... Turning into a nice sub project

  20. Fortunately most of the tools came with their own dedicated cases/boxes of the Systainer variety. For the tools that didn't, I've bought extra Systainers so they're in the same ecosystem. Then for the majority of those over built a 900mm deep drawer. That drawer then has height adjustable laterally sliding plates that each Systainer sits on, so that the lower levels can be accessed without removing the case. It's still a work in progress, but so far it's doing the job. When mobility is required, the desired combination of boxes can be stacked together into a dolly and rolled around. There are few options from dollies, to hand carts, to using the dust extractor as the mobile base Basically it all just clips together. As for batteries, in the garage they're on Stealthmount battery clips (either on the board seen below or strategically placed throughout the garage) and when on the move they travel inside the Systainers (most have a dedicated spot in the tool insert). So yeah, a number of options to satisfy the old OCD, and for my use case (a weekend warrior) it's mostly overkill, but it brings me joy 😅 Edit: I forgot to mention that a bonus of the giant drawer is that it hides excessive tool collecting from the missus 😅
  21. He’s there as part of the team and domestique duties rather than GC ambitions. Been pretty open about his trajectory, would take a few seasons before making any overtures. WT is a different beast to WC XCO and if he’s using these World Tour road races to build himself and find his feet, it’ll be his prerogative and those around him to know best.
  22. It not only held up well, large portions of the route was graded in the last couple of days! Even the Delico section is smooth now. @BMCfan and I rode 60km of the route today, and apart from a few mud puddles that will be dry by next weekend, it was champagne gravel all the way!
  23. Anyone else also looking for an extra or wanting to team up? Relatively fit, just done Sani2c. I have done NonStop before and a few other long events.
  24. My enjoy bib fits nicely top and bottom. What brand are you using?
  25. Temu is legend. Bought some carbon sheet rols some time ago and got some LR30 resin from AMT and made some carbon parts for my other toy. Was actually fun. Made a mold first and molded the stuff and came out really good.
