  1. Well done dude, but how are you making money? I've been doing this for just over a year, and I'm charging R100 for a wash and lube-no call out fee. I can't open your pricelist...
  2. The best Bakkie I have driven is an old Chevy El Camino...Can't go over 80km/h so no problem of it falling off the road... There is no replacement for displacement.
  3. It is legal, however for road racing its not ideal, if you need to push your saddle that far forward then your frame is too big... Unless you are doing a bit of road racing and a lot of tri's then its fine...
  4. I'm about the same hieght, and ride a med epic, BUT its at its limits, so a large would be ideal
  5. Not much will be better than that at that price...bullet proof wheels...
  6. I'm sorry but I also made the same example and everyone went off at a tangent so I'm not directing anything at anyone I'm just saying lets not forget the title of this thread... but its now heading off at another tangent so I'll leave it here...
  7. Wether or not it was the vehicles fault there's now a girl without a father and a wife without a husband... lets not forget that!
  8. Don't take offence but because you can't really get spares for them, unless you (or someone) has a stash of spares, I don't think you could get much for them...
  9. Just a saying no intention to offend
  10. Ya its an ongoing battle, Coolheat don't wan't to upset "their" shops by selling direct so they point you to the same shop that can't (couldn't be bothered to) help you so coolheat wind up getting the bad name, instead of saying no problem, we'll just send the part to the shop wether they like it or not and sort the problem out...
  11. Good show old chap!
  12. From what I have seen and heard they are not bad value for money...
  13. the more grease the better... the bearings do nothing its the peice of plastic that does all the hard work... the plastic peice is there to try and keep cr@p out of the bearings...
  14. iT'LL FIT BUT THE TRAVELS A BIT MUCH...
  15. Ya I have it all the time! A 90l parrafin washer get clogged up lekker quick with all the crap I clean off bikes...
  16. Ya the FD settings will be out as the whole chainline is out...Makes me wonder how they (couldn't have) fitted the plastic cap to preload the bearings...
  17. Jeez I'm sad I missed it but spent time at home with my new son who was discharged from hospital on Sat morning... Well done to all, And to Summit - watch me next year! I'm coming with a BIG stick... haha. Well done dude, and well done Dobby was it your 1st 24?
  18. It is a no win argument, but I'm just having a say...I know first hand that nothing is for free, but I guess it blows my mind that someone (and not just doctors) can earn more, from one client/patient, than I can earn in 6 months.
  19. Ya point in case Neil Frazer on the way back from Sani2c... But thats tragic my regards and best wishes to the family.
  20. Just reading back, yes doctors work long hours, and sometimes when qualifying in some dodgy places, but so do a lot of us, as an appy I had to clean out the used oil sumps in the workshop, sweep the floors before and after work, get covered in clutch and brake dust (itches like a MOFO), as well as pulling a few 18-20hr days - especially when I was restoring classics...
  21. Shimano are the only ones that make centre lock rotors, as it is their patent, but any 160mm rotor will work if you also get a centre lock adapter...
  22. The wider the better, I'm riding 680mm bars on my XC bike, nothing better, but there is no "correct" bar width its personal...
  23. There's some rocket surgeons out there...(the LBS who stuffed up the installation)
