  9. The Lynsky is a 29er, which is a start, but I agree hardtails are dead...
  10. Yes it does, Besides thats an old frame, 2006/7 whereas the Raliegh is new? I know which one I would go for, even tho I am not a Raliegh fan but for that price I wouldn't turn it down.
  11. Most shops are hubbers too, strange, but we have to keep our fingers on the pulse, who's bad mouthing who etc...

  14. Every 2nd Fox fork I see has this problem, the one that I did yesterday was so bad there was no oil in the left leg, and the oil in the right leg was not of this earth! Boils down to maintainence, I've also had a reba that I had to take a hammer to to seperate the lowers from the stanchions, Phoned the cuzzi, told him the problem, freaked out, then still complained when the fork wasn't buttery smooth after a service... Then the other end of the scale one cuzzi complained that his fork was too bouncy after a service, cuz it was working properly again...
  15. Try sparying WD-40/Q-20 or some lube similar into the levers, more often than not its just dirt/old grease thats dried up causing the jams...
  16. Agreed Bos I've had two identical bikes, same wheels, brakes same size frame etc and one bike's brakes make a noise and the other doesn't, But I have found that a lot of people over look these other causes.
  17. Yup, as well as Barry Rogers being hit by a camera bike in the 04 tour... Its *** to happen to anyone, and I hope the driver gets what he deserves, and I hope kurt is back on his bike asap, indoor trainer 1st perhaps... Get well soon dude
  18. Any rotor will work, But I'm a firm believer that you should run Avid with avid and shimano with shimano etc...but I know that people want lighter/cheaper setups so you mix and match to suit...
  19. Most cranksets are interchangable, I've run a campy crankset with Shimano as wellas a Dura ace crankset with Campy Veloce.... All Shimano is interchangable so long as you run 10sp levers with a 10sp cassette, I've also run a 9sp dura ace RD with 10sp levers and cassette. The ONLY one that will cause a hassle is the new 7900 (dura ace) levers as there is no trim on the front shifter so you HAVE to run those levers with a 7900 FD but thats the only catch...
  20. Vibration/ squealing is caused by someting being loose, start by checking the caliper is tight, the wheel in the frame is tight, the rotor, spokes, etc any one of thesse can cause the brakes to make a noise, contamination has been covered already...
  21. I've had my Oakley Pro M frames for 5 years with no hassles, I've had Adidas supernovas - fell off my face, Briko Lucifers - same thing the only other ones I've had that worked were the old Briko Stingers I'm going back 10years tho...
  22. Unfortunatly it doesn't just happen here, this was at the Tour of Langkawi a couple years back...his own team car ran him over...
  23. Get either a Bell sweep, you can use it for both, or a Specialized 2D also can be used for both, the more you spend on a helmet the more comfortable it will be...the safety is the same... Also keep in mind that riding with a peak obstructs your view of any overhead dangers, I've seen guys hitting tree branches 'cause they haven't seen them...
  24. I don't care what people say about LA, he has changed the face of world cycling like it or not...
