  1. I have a stem with a high rise laying somewhere in my garage if you are intrested...
  2. Not R502.56?
  3. I think "Exus" grease has a light green tint
  4. Have a look at model hobby shops (remote cars, planes etc). Bought a smaller (25mm) heat sink there for R20

    Saddle

I can vote for Gobi - very comfy.
  6. Yes it is a used one but basicly spotless. Also it is a more common size (27.2mm)
  7. Try e-bay...just bought a Thomson for under R400
  8. Recut the thread and see if there is not enough "bite" to hold it in place without over torqueing it. If that does work, go one size up and even look at imperial sizes. Check from Acorn (i think) in Centurion what taps are available.
  9. You are a brave man eating dodgy looking samoosas a day before a race...
  10. 50mm Threaded irrigation adopter also works well for a downlighter. Drill a 48-50mm hole in a stop end which will hold the downlighter in place. Must agree that a downlighter is not the best light and also went the Maglite route.

    Lefty's

What is the "better" Lefty on the market - DLR, Terralogic, manitou inner components, fox inner components, carbon, aluminium? I followed a couple of Lefty topics lately on the Hub and realised some hubbers have serious Lefty knowledge.
  12. Did you use the lockring you got with the 12/27? If so that is the reason - get yourself a 11 teeth lockring which has a smaller outer diameter
  13. If you look at their websites, both refer to a GXP BB. I asumed that it is the same BB.
  14. Truvativ GXP BB should work with SRAM and is available with Italian thread. Question is if they stock it locally?
  15. I know "Wurth" are selling rivnuts. Maybe phone them and see who are buying rivnuts from them as they will obviously have the correct tool.

    My new bike

Jy moenie vinnig oor n speed hump gaan...
  17. If you are unsure about the size of your seat tube, buy the braze on derailer. You can buy a clamp at your LBS for under R100 for the correct size downtube w-endfan2007-11-07 07:39:17
  18. What is the weight of the frame. Picked a Monoc bike (105) up once and almost dislocate my back
  19. I have the normal Scalwbe with reinf side walls on with Stans kit. So far no problems but in my opinion not too hot in the mud.
  20. Also used Jenson USA before. Excellant service
  21. I am sure somebody had them on exhibition at the outdoor show at Kayalami a couple months ago. Was quite expensive...
  22. Depending on the model (year) it has a treaded fork. BBB do a 1" insert/adopter which should do the trick or upgrade to a carbon fork w-endfan2007-07-25 23:31:51
