  1. download click to chat. you dont need to have a person in your contacts to whatsapp them
  2. 30% math pass rate
  3. This is why I was particularly looking for the power flex as it has rubber infused and is flexible. Original poster that mentioned it has used it on tyres. I'm not trying to seal the hole from the puncture, merrily reduce the size of the overall opening to give it a little extra strength for the internal patch.
  4. My opinion; If the hole was to small for the plug it should have sealed with the sealant.
  5. lots of small cuts. some are seeping sealant. Plus I want to fix the puncture I got this morning. B.T.W. 1 tiny tube of Loctite Power Flex at Leroy Merlin is R61. This stuff better work.
  6. Finally found it from this thread
  7. same results I found, still could not find the post I'm thinking of.
  8. In one of the Tubeless discussion threads someone mentioned a specific superglue they use for small cuts etc. on their tyres. My google skills cant seem to find this post. Please help
  9. Sorry but no, I dont think its a good idea. 2 reasons 1) The scamster will probably at worst get off with a slap on the wrists. We know our legal system is in shambles. 2) As much as it should not be this way it is. The buyers have learnt a hard lesson and will be a heck of alot more cautious going forward.
  10. Always carry one slug up in your Ryder Slug Plug. This morning I picked up a nail in the rear tyre. Stupidly I pulled it out before getting the slug plug ready. So with one hand I was closing the hole to keep some air in, with the other hand I fished out the slug plug, opened it and got it ready to insert the plug. I would not have been able to get a plug and put it into the tool with one hand. Also. If you know you have a dodgy CO2 inflator, dont forget your pump at home.
  11. Was just starting to enjoy the ride and then I picked up a nail in the tyre. Literally right after putting the phone away to take this pic. (BTW that is ride time not elapsed time :) )
  12. yes, after this latest information re the profile pic, I retract my empathy post from yesterday. There is desperate and then there is down and out criminality. But, in the back of my mind I'm wondering if the real Lionel's identity has not been stolen and if being used by this scum bag. I mean to be a member here for many years and then all of a sudden something like this. It doesnt add up.
  13. Spoken like someone who has never been so down and out they would be willing to do anything for a few bucks. Not saying what he did was right or should be tolerated, but if his personal situation drove him to this I do have some understanding.
  14. but if you shuttle to the top of a mountain and spend 60 minutes freewheeling to the bottom hardly even turning the pedals at all does it really count ? You had 60 minutes of fun though.
  15. I generally pause my ride if I'm going to be stopped for longer than a few minutes. Unless its a timed event, because then elapsed time is what they measure.
  16. HRV app said take it easy, but after stopping right at the start to take this pic the body felt strong.
  17. definitely. Based on my early morning rides and the ability to spot pedestrians, reflective strips are very helpful. There is on particular gent I see walking every morning, the only way i see him is the one small reflective strip on the strap of his backpack. For me, I have 2 of those yellow reflective strips from dischem that go around my ankles. Bright flashing rear light, above that a reflective strip on my saddle bag and then a flash red light on the back of my helmet. Not to mention that even from behind you should be able to see the spread of light from 1000lumens up front. I might look a bit like a christmas tree, but I'd rather be seen than be dead,
  18. I have this, minus the kiddy seat at the back. circa 1999 Giant boulder SE, will need new Tyres though. make an offer if you’re interested
  19. even up here in the big smoke you'll be surprised how close the nearest dairy farm is.
  20. so ifyou borrow a mates trailer you need to have a plate made that matches your car ?
  21. The pic makes it look short, but its the same as the one posted above. I bought the last 4 at SW Boksburg
  22. As I'm to cheap to buy Steadyracks (which IMHO, as good as they are, are over priced anyway) I went on a hunt for bike storage hooks. Whilst these are not the same brand name items, all of them were pretty much the same material, same construction method and I'd bet if you removed the packaging you could not tell one brand from the other. 4 different stores, prices ranged from R 130 - R 1000
  23. The 48 in both messages also seems to be edited
  24. She is my sister. no really, thats my sisters name. I actually follow 2 Sam Bennetts on Strava
