  1. Bloemfontein, nice and central But then again, Bloem is actually still a 'dorp'.
  2. Thanks for the updates jcza
  3. Are all the main manne still together? Froome, Contador, Valverde, JRod, Sanchez?
  4. Just heard this on 5FM, awesome!!!
  5. Ek ken actually die 'oom' wat Daantjie Kat was!!!
  6. Felt like I had to ride, did a 45km on the mtb yesterday and also kept thinking of him...Tried to hammer a couple of climbs that little bit more. Was going to do a short brickrun today(using the roadbike). Ended up just doing the run, couldn't get myself to get on the roadbike.
  7. IMSA 2012-Athleteinfoguide (Version 3)1.pdf Added file.
  8. Used the seconding station this year for a warm top on the run. Saved me for sure. But yes, as per above posts that is how I have it as far as the rules are for IMSA. I have the 2012 info guide in pdf, which I can mail to you if you like Garfield?
  9. Agree with you guys, but I guess she has a MAJOR following and sort of revolutionised talk shows on the most influential medium for the 'haus-fraus' all over the world.
  10. 6 of the most influential people of the century?
  11. Suit looks lekker. Did Ironman in a 1-piece this year, stopped a couple of times to 'gooi pyp' down the trouser leg. Have also never had to go 2 during a race or any other longish(12+ hours) event for that matter. I do have issues in the high mountains but that's why my pants have a crotch-zip :-)
  12. Cool game, that little girl gave me quite a fright the 1st time!!!

    Cricket......

Why oh why!!! Don't understand a runout in test cricket!!!
  14. Very possible, did my 1st OFM a couple of years back on the mtb (just started cycling) and did the 94km route in 3:58 I think it was. Next year on the road bike did the 97km route in 3:05. I also don't race every event so my times differ...maybe the same here?
  15. I presume tri-suits and triathlon not covered by the 'no sleeveless rule' ?
  16. I experienced the opposite in our "D" bunch. Everybody worked well together (although we have to thank the MediClinic guys for doing the majority of the work) and rode responsibly.
  17. Can't agree more, I think this is the route that should be kept, the distance is now also on par with the 'bigger' races.
  18. Saw some motorists getting very agitated with the marshals and having to wait at intersections, but luckily nothing like what you describe at Bays Village!!!
  20. Great stuff, well done. Next year will go much better! Still a great achievement doing both as well as your first road race!
  21. Well done, sorry about missing the sub3!
  22. How did it go guys? Happy with my ride and really enjoyed it, the mtb ride from yesterday really kicked in after 70km. Managed a 3.18 from D, think I did the same time yesterday. Good training for IMSA in the legs
  23. Wind made the mtb quite a battle. Enjoyed the new bits of singletrack. Hopefully the legs are there tomorrow...
  24. Wil6, Lamber is riding his mtb at the road race...
  25. Did my firtst OFM on my mtb, ran 4-bar on the road...2-bar is 'normal' pressure for me offroad.
