  1. I had to take our 8 week old Husky to the Vet on Thursday morning at 3am (second time in the 3 weeks we've had him) He's had some trouble weeing so hopefully the tests are complete today and he doesn't need surgery just a diet change.
  2. Sorry for your loss. I cried like a little girls when I had to put our Lab down last year.
  3. Not sure but watching this, I might join you on that long swim.
  4. Image hosting not working...
  5. Lockdown lesson: Stand in the line for beer... No beer braai's are not as lekker as braai's with beer. Not too fussed about the no alcohol rule but I do know it's hitting some folk hard!
  6. Then you also get the chop that doesn't distance himself/herself when shopping. Luckily my "why the f*ck you so close to me look" is quite strong so they back off. Idiots all over I tell you.
  7. Hopefully next year once our house is done I can start with the pool, I'm also looking towards the bungee cord thing. Anyone have any figures for those endless pools? I'm sure if I type in endless pool DIY there's probably some dude who's made a stand for his 40HP outboard motor and mounted it in the pool... With a disclaimer about a cage around the propeller as optional....
  8. At the mo I'm grateful to have a job so working extra hours seems the least I can do in the grand scheme of things. I have some DIY demolition work once the lockdown is over... I'm going to save my insanity for those walls...
  9. Good on you, I'm in what you could call destruction phase! Haven't done anything in the last 2 weeks. Work is crazy so up early and finish late I'll just wait until I get paroled. Still have a dumb trainer but have just thought of something now. Watch this space....
  10. We're a month or so since IM PE was postponed, who thinks we'll race in November or do you think we'll be on the start line in 2021?
  11. That's a great idea, think I'm going to do Number 1 and Number 2's grips.
  12. Thanks again! I'll defo take you up on this. I'm kinda excited, the wife and I always wanted a fixer upper and now we have it. We've given our girls the go ahead to design what they want their rooms to look like (obviously I'm going to say no to 99% of their ideas but they still get the 1% right?). Anyhoo yesterday my eldest put on her cycling helmet cause she asked me to tear down the cupboards in her new room. Safety first she said when I asked her why she has her helmet on but her bike is still in the garage....
  13. Hi Hairy, Much appreciated however I've spoken to the "expert" who's waiting for Uncle Cyril to give the go ahead for him to come by and advise. We didn't get any floor plans with the purchase, I did have my cousin around to come and asses the bathroom and kitchen (he's a plumber by trade) and he said the older houses filing of plans is an absolute mess so once the lockdown is over I need to apply to get the plans from the city.
  14. When you're done polishing your car don't you want to pop my my place? lol I have the polish and the new clothes... Just haven't found the time yet... #lockdownjobs
  15. Try a PNP Hypermarket as well? Gooi it in with the bread and milk....
  16. More like a Lockdown Break out/up (delete where applicable). Bought a house, it needs work. We've identified stuff that needs to go! Carpets in bedrooms are out, I'm busy with the cupboards, can't wait for the lockdown to end so we can get an expert in to advise on the walls we want to take out... Builders warehouse here I come! :-)
  17. The free stuff I get in race packs. I also have some Mucoff stuff but won't be replacing that cause it's just too damn expensive. I've used car shampoo too and engine degreaser for the oily bits.
  18. No idea, as long as it's working, when it breaks I'll have it fixed. It's always been like that, service after service. Actually now that I think of it, apparently mine was a triple that could be why I sometimes have to double click.. Anyway I've seen the Fast and Furios movies, I imagine myself looking like Paul and Vin when they shift from 3rd to 4th, 4th to 3rd and back a few more times for no reason... It adds to the special effects of me cycling. Sorry I blame lock down, I think I need to take a walk around the yard.
  19. You have a message from Tech Support: Please rate our service from 1-10 10 being very satisfied.
  20. Tech Support: I'm glad it's working again, I'll close this ticket and mark it as resolved.
  21. I'm also running Ultegra and sometimes with mine you got to "Double click" my front derailer. Its the same when I shift down to granny gear (WHICH I DON'T DO EVER ) but it always works.
  22. I was too lazy to do it on my own so no I haven't bothered but was told you can get those ingredients at Dischem.
  23. I "chewed" out my daughters because they were nagging since we had to put our old Lab down last year. Then when God of Choas rocks up they were too poep scared to handle him! They got a serious talking too. He's just a proper pup that goes for everything, anyway they better with him now. Even though they do the little nervous laugh when he comes close... I do find it funny when he "attacks" the wife and she jumps 1m into the air... I do think this one is broken though, he's walking around chewing on metal and the garage door etc.. I need to get out and get him some more chew toys. The ones we have aren't going to last long!
