That Motul oil will work 100% and will probably be 10x cheaper than the Rockshox stuff

Been a happy Kickr user for the last 4 years. One unit replaced cause bearings crapped. The local guys had my new unit with me within a few days after submitting a claim on their system, no questions asked. If the bearings go again I'll find an engineering works to fit some new ones cause I'm out of the warranty period now. The belt is a generic item that can be sourced a lot cheaper than the official Wahoo agents. I'd love tp get the new Kickr Move, but there is still loads of life in my current Kickr. I've used mine with Zwift, Sufferfest and a few other apps with no issues around compatibility at all

Local distributor will deny there is an issue and no warranty claims will be entertained....

I also struggled initially with the slick version. This weekend I installed a new set, but changed to Muc Off rim tape and they snapped into place first time

Rythym is a very good fork and has thicker uppers than the equivalent 36 Performance and Elite models so is stiffer. Going up 10mm is easy and can be done with a R1500 air shaft. No need for a whole new fork. If you are feeling like you are too far over the front, or the front is too low, a higher rise bar and shorter stem can also do the trick to raise the front end of the bike.

Picked up a 2022 Trance X E+ 1 on sale earlier this year. Great bike with great spec. No way it is being moved on any time soon!

Confirmed with my Pyga contacts that they have different rockers between the frames. The Hyrax kinematics don't play nicely with a longer stroked shock. Probably not the end of the world, but worth keeping in mind. Apologies for the hijack

Changing the stroke of the shock does nothing for the angles as the eye to eye length remains the same. I'll ask Barry why he said the conversion is not possible 🤷‍♂️
