Maar eks seker jy is n soortgelyke case? jou tjinners wil net lollos mamma ons wil lollos kyk, haha Sterkte dienaweek! trek warm aan, koudkry maak jou vinnigger moeg as fietsry
  2. Swarrie is dit jy? Ek love die naam..lollos.. Jy gan lekker ry man, moenie dat die pansies jou bang praat nie, die oomblik as dit begin is dit een groot afontuur
  3. Nee Hy is gans te oorspronklik. I have learnt 2 things here. One, to get the spellcheck.. and two, that im a poephol, because I only greet some with the lift of the finger and others with a grunt as Im to tired to lift anything else
  4. this looks just like a high roller, Ive been riding it in front, Its fast and it grips as well as you can make a xc tire grip! will wear fast if you do lots of tar on it though, but thats why I have a road bike.
  5. Someone mentioned Belvue rd somewhere here.. If you start In front of Bombay Bicycle and basicly ride up to kloofnec and then on to the cablecar.. I was always intrigued by the thought of it because I use to stay in the area.. I did it once nad the top of belvue is so steep I was actually stiff the next day. It gets up to around 20% up there, and then you have another 2.5km of 7-8% left up to the cablecar. It hurts like hell. Chunkymonky mentioned Molteno, that is beast.. Pitty it doesnt go right to the cableway road or has a nice view at the top.. so theres no real point except to hurt yourself real bad. There are also a couple of steep little buggers in seapoint- bantry bay. . but not long enough to be called a climb.
  6. Ive thought about doing it but Im so afraid theres an interubtion during the update then the unit is nowhere.. literally, gues takes it back to Garmin. How long did it take?
  7. I know this is besides the point.. but a 2km climb at 15% would have most of the peleton shitting in their pants. Wasnt it 2km at 10% ? I stand to be corrected..
  8. weight? cant beleve no one ha asked!
  9. Ya I was thinking the same, on a road bike or Cyclocross you would have shed some fat for sure..but on a mtb you can just spin away la la laa...
  10. The GPS receiver loses satelite reception when your arm is submerged during a swim, But then again, Ive never stopped during a swim to see how far I still need to go.. the thing thats important is the time. and that It will give you. A cadence speed unit is a nice add on for the IDT and cadence. but otherwise the cool thing about it is the freedom, No stings attached. Its not flawless but works fine, the vibrating alert is also a nice addition on the 310.
  11. I HATE YOU Its like youve just ordered everything Ive ever wanted at once
  12. Whaats this sneaky AM vibe going on..? I wanna join.. wheres the fun at? I heard burms.. My Zula can be converted to a 4X bike If I can stay with youall can I come?
  13. Oh MY fricken heck thats beautifull. Im not a Sir- vello fan but sheesh..its toit.
  14. Its when Burry stil rode a GT. Couldnt find a pic of his 26" spez, I was in a hurry but wanted to make a point, hehe
  15. MBEE, Listen to me, these okes are making you deurmekaar.. Some peeps are just built different, Im not saying the size is right but im just 182cm but my seatpost is a mile high even on my large zula, cause I gots the legs like a supermodel OK long & skinny. BUT, that shouldnt have to much to do with the settup... what you probably do find is the headtube of your new frame is longer than your old bike, IOW the hight the stem is fastened on the steerer tube (the tube from the fork) is highter than previous. BUT your seat hight has stayed the same, because you just dropped your seat. SO, take all the spacers out underneath the stem, and for now put them on top (later cut the steerer shorter) If that still doesnt work, Flip your stem over to get it even lower. The sag etc on the fork has nothing to do with it. Its just that your centre of gravity is to far back and you have no weight on your front wheel. When I got my Zula I had a 120mm fork and 1' rizerbar. I found it climed terrible. as I mentioned I have a short upperbody, long arms and long legs, so I have a 100mm 9deg stem, flipped over, a 0 rize Bar and hardly any spacers under my stem. For most that might be to low, but because I hont sit to high(short torso) my centre of gravity remains OK. Complicated answer, I know, but I just thought Id give you the Full answer cause others might not agree with all because "It doesnt work for them" Take a look at BURRY STANDER'S bikes.. When He swopped over to a 29'er the bigger wheel did the same as your large frame wheel would have done to your bar hight. When He rode 26" HT his stem and bars looked pretty normal, but when swopping to the 29" ha had to resort to quite a hectic angled flipped stem..heres pics..
  16. I found the spring rate being different when riding my reba at 120mm almost had me over the front on one or two ocasions.. also it didnt climb well like that. I set mine back to 100mm
  17. Definately suspect, Surely this is enough to get cops on this guy??
  18. F*k, Die thread gaan nog laaaaank word. As daar vrae is soos die.. Eckard. If you like to ride Technical and aggresive trails, you are not that much into racing although you might do the odd long race I'd get the Mojo. If youre less into technical tight stuff and like to hit the open road and get in miles and stage races I'd maybe opt for the tallboy, However the tallboy also handles tech trails pertty well, Its just sharp steep switchbacks that gets the best of it. So Id say Marathon/ race Tallboy Marathon/trail Mojo
  19. If you can keep a cadence of 70 rpm in 39-21 up suikerbosie you should be shunting! Depends how steep the hill ofcourse! I'd say on flats my sweetspot is around 90-95rpm, but on climbs ofcourse its much harder as the gear ratio gets the best of me. Up Kloofneck I try keep above 60 but on my 3rd and 4th times I often go as low as 55, which is before I have to get out the saddle or fall over I do find that even on something like suikerbossie which isnt quite steep enough to have to grind there is a climbing sweetspot much like Wannabe indicated, My heartrate goes through the roof If I climb at to high cadence.
  20. How about the oke that had his picture taken on the N1 that time My racetrack is from bantry bay to clifton forth, its a bit short but they go slow enough to catch around those bends then you got to crank it..
  21. Im glad I waited with mine.. So If Its powdercoated and one has it sandblasted.. How rough does it end up? I would like to go "pollished" in the end so does that meen I'll have to try sand it smooth after Ive had it blasted?

Its not even on CRC Yet... I think its going to be pricy! I ride Shinooke Specialites blades on my 970 XTR.. doesnt look to abnormal, but those with the kind of chopper blade "non symetric" look wont look good with anything else.

That is the new Blur carbon "inbetweener" TRC - Its more a exact replacement of the old Blur LT Like the one I use to own. It had 135mm ov Vpp travel and man I rode it everywhere.. Probably weighs 2.2kg's about.. thats much less than my Zula My ass itched to much though so I got a zula, I wanted more XC ish bike that I can still ride hard. I ride my zula hard but up to a point then that thing gets like a horse with a hot rod up its ass. Stevief: I wish that was my bike bro, Sheesh.. But Id dress her up soo nice If I had that kind of cash lying around. Oh my, dont get me started..

I got a zula, one, But Im a Santacruz Lover, If I had more cash or less sense of responsability I'd drive a VW chico and ride this .. oops, Im sorry this is a morewood thread But In all fairness, I love my Zula, and Im busy making her more cosmetic changes at the moment which should make her even faster
  25. Thanks Eiger, I dont like the Dull look that the ali gets when left untreated. So I want to coat it with something.
