  5. I wish this was entirely true.. Im the biggest KE fan of them all. I boaght my first bike from His dads shop back in Knysna. But this is what he said... "To clear up any confusion around the crash, here it is from me: It was simply a problem with the disc pads that we changed the night before the stage. On the steep descends, the aluminium rotors were overheating and causing the brakes to ‘fade’ and loose power. On the steepest descend on the stage, 25km into the race, I had too much speed to slow down and knew I was heading for a crash. All things considering, I think I was fairly lucky, as I crashed in a very hectic corner. Helmet completely smashed and I could have been so much worse! The part in bold has me scratching my head.. Unless the pads were the same as what he had been running, and they had some defect. Beause I to would wonder about changing to complete new untested pads the night B4

  15. I remember Way back in the day when people still knew who LANCE was there were some alegations that they sold bikes to pay for the rocket fuel At least now that he"s gone I can kind of look at trek again..
  16. I dont change my perceptions quickly, I use to be a fan of Cytomax but halfway through my second tub of 32GI and 80km into the second day of a 300km Mtb stage race I realised that not once in the 8 hours Id ridden the previous day and the current day combined did I feel "low" or like "I hit the wall" It doesnt give you super powers but Its like petrol in a car, It allowa you to focus on the racing. I am a belever in the 32GI revolution. My Team mate who was as strong as I was was riding on Perpetum from Hammer and he took sips of my 32 at times when his bottles were looking empty, he felt stronger during those times than when he was riding on his stuf and he changed over to 32 for the last day. I experianced a "kick" when I was taking Cytomax but I have realised that "kick" is actually just a upward spike of your sugar levels when the Sugar levels started dropping. 32GI is a lot less dramatic, It doesnt do much except give you sustained energy for the duration of the race. Ive never hit the wall since.(read fineprint)

  19. Hey! Foggit, stop chooning me, when you have a fat arse and beer gut oneday youll wanna be like me! If I eat cake and Doughnuts I get Hyper and that makes me go bezerk which leads to more weightloss Chop[s with fat, yes please, Beer, Oh yea, And sweets!
  20. He's just flexing that muscle bud. I promise you you'll say the same of me. I eat all I see but battle to get my 1.83m frame over 65kg.. Thats why these guys climb well they have much less to take up. you know that I know youre just chooning but It gets to me when people comment about how thin or light you are, It makes weight an issue when It shouldnt be, Ive never even thought about it, Its how Im built. Now all of a sudden I worry when getting on the scale, like, oops, last week I was 66kg's but this week im down to 65..Oh **** I must stuff my face even more. If you are overweight, then let it be an issue, but let me be.
  21. I figuer people start riding ss to get away of complication and ruls races and be free. Funny they want now make rulse to put it back in the box Sorry Im not one of them Im just playing Devils Advocate here. I dont own a SS, only a fixi.
  22. Bliksem, Dit se daar in my E-mail "the crow" left a message on pics that make you wanna ride... THE CROW! Die F*KKEN KRAAI IS TERUG ! Hell brother where have they found you or have you been on a HUB fast? Welcome back, Ive not graced the pages much, trying to grow up but I do have a Morewood now even though its definately slower than my Blur down tokai
  23. What seading?? Ive never done a marathon before ever I'll see
  24. I gave it a serious consideraation for about 5 minutes.. Then I realized I'm not getting paid to do that, and I dont have to, So Im not, haha. I think the worst part might be the cycle, If they get a day of southeast the okes are going to **** bricks all the way out to michels plain.. No drafting, no bunches..the okes wont even be able to stay upright In the TT position ! Thats the elements.. Other problem, Michell's plain stretch.. safe? Appart from that, Lovely race I think.. A bit like Nice.. Is it nice? the one with the Mountain stages in the bike.
