  1. Yes.They are excellent training runs; as long or short as you want them to be.
  2. When submitting results for an event, what distance should one use if the actual event was shorter than it should have been? For example, Stellenbosch Cycle Tour was advertised as 102Km, with that number being on the the results page, but in reality it was a few hundred metres short of 100km. The difference means either 600 or 1500 points. Vitality can very easily check the actual distance via all the activity uploads that they have received, but will they hold you to that?
  3. After last weeks plays, I had just enough to get one. Luckily I didn't wait.
  4. Any idea how it's going to work now? Will it go back to the old smoothie reward way?
  5. I got 4 plays for some or other reason. Thank you to all my friends for not deleting me last week.
  6. Here's the warranty link. https://store.boafit.com/warranty.php Things may have changed though. It now has this on the page: For Warranty Claims in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Please contact our European office in Austria: Boa Technology GmbH Phone: +43 6232 93080 200 guarantee_EMEA@BoaTechnology.com
  7. Cool, they were gone but now they're back. Mine expires on 5 December.
  8. If you convert reward points to a voucher, how long would the voucher be valid for?
  9. 3 plays got me a diamond and all of 50 points. A single diamond is worthless, so after Vitality Open has finished, it's going to be really difficult with just one play per week to get another one.
  10. According to the app, the voucher is for Woolies cardholders, so you probably need a Woolies card.
  11. Ok, I think I've got the good driving thing sorted now. I'll just have to get a quote from them and see how the numbers compare to my current insurance. So if you drive 300 km event free km's in a week, you would get 3 play just for that?
  12. This one is confusing. Do they get details of the activity such as the distance covered? I thought it was just heart rate and time as mentioned earlier. Because it must be done before 3 November, they must accept more than just the two events mentioned.
  13. The goals start on 100 for the first week and then 200 for the second which is what I am now on. I don't know how it goes after that yet. Saturday I did a 30 minute run over 80% of max heart rate which was 300 points. On Sunday I did a running race over 90 minutes which earned me 450 points because I registered for the endurance category. That's 750 points right there. With what's planned for the rest of this week, I'll get to the regular target by Friday.
  14. 150% of my goal achieved already and it's only Saturday. I'm new on Vitality, but still... Add me if you need friends. HENRYS2be0
  15. I also have Momentum Multiply. Check the difference in driving scores on the two apps for the same trip. http://bitsandpcs.co.za/images/discdrive4.jpg
  16. That image shows 2 incidents. One is on the off-ramp and one is on the on-ramp. The 3rd incident was hard cornering which definitely would not have caused an issue. Actually, they really got it wrong near that section! They showed me going totally off course. I took the blue line, while they had me going around and through the VW dealership! Now I'm going to have to stay in the far right lane until just after the off-ramp and then shoot across to the left because I take the very next exit! Is it worthwhile complaining to them about this at all? http://bitsandpcs.co.za/images/discdrive2.jpg http://bitsandpcs.co.za/images/discdrive3.jpg
  17. I don't have much faith in the Discovery drive app. Yesterday was only the second day that I've used it and it has already given incorrect results. I drove on the N1, but it reckoned I went onto the off-ramp and then the on-ramp and back onto the freeway, giving me 2 bad speeding scores - 1 for the off-ramp and 1 for the on-ramp, thus wiping out 2 days of near perfect driving. http://bitsandpcs.co.za/images/discdrive.jpg
  18. Yep. The only problem with my Edge 500 was that one of the rubber buttons had worn through and fallen out. Everything else on it was perfect.
  19. The latest is that you must send it directly to Garmin in Jhb. My Edge 500 was replaced with an Edge 520 for R1700 in June. Navworld still did it then and charged me R200 to send it. You can send it yourself for R100 via Aramex couriers.
