Niner boy. Where did you find the 105kg rider weight limit? On the Stans website it says 190lbs (86.2kg). American Classic MTB 29 Tubeless rider weight limit 107kg... At 1600g/set (AM Classic) vs 1575g/set (ZTR Crest) the Amercian classics sounds like more bang for your buck.

I have a Epic 29er comp. First proper ride this morning. Love it. Regarding the 142+ hub on the rear wheel: I've read up quite a bit and the way I understand it is that any 142 hub will work. The problem is when you have 2 sets of wheels and the 1 is the 142+ and the 1 is a regular 142. You will then have to adjust your rear derailleur every time you swop wheels. The standard wheels are pretty heavy.

We rode with Cycle lab this morning. We were quite a big group. 4 of us were alone in front on a downhill jeep track section when we rode past 5 or 6 guys crouching behind the bush. We stopped about 30meters after them and shouted back to the rest of the group to warn them. The hijackers obviously realized we were in quite a group and ran away. At least 1 panga. It was behind the shooting range. What a shame if these guys hijacked someone later after we notified the police...
