  1. So if this event takes place this year, what permit will allow travel to Gauteng from another province? (If level 3 lockdown is still in place)
  2. Full suss or hardtail? Is the chain length correct?
  3. I have been using the wahoo elemnt bolt for 2 years now. Extremely easy to set up using only the phone app. A nice feature is that you can change/modify the unit display while you are riding, as it updates immediately. The LED feature is nice and the zoom function allows you to focus on specific measurements as needed. Battery life is good, after 2 years I still get around 20-24 hours of life/recording from a single charge. The navigation is also useful, although not fully turn by turn, the breadcrumb navigation is quite accurate. I have used the normal navigation on many occasions in new territories, just select a destination on your phone app and the unit will navigate you there. Awesome product with no issues at all. Wahoo aftersale service is top notch in SA if required. I can definitely recommend the unit.
  4. Another easy way to access all the worlds is to create a meetup. All worlds are available on the meetup options????????
  5. Congrats with the new bike! I love my tcr. Best bike I have owned so far????????
  6. Sorry if this a stupid question, but with your setup, does the zwift app on your phone then control the trainer ito resistance? Can you connect a hr monitor like a wahoo tickr to the phone at the same time?
  7. Yip, also experienced it before. Bought n new frame with a different seat clamp, problem solved????????
  8. Wow. Indoor trainer is the new toilet paper. Sold out everywhere
  9. Wow. You may relax. As you quoted, I said my chinese ec90 bars cracked. Nowhere on the bars is the name Easton, nor did I Say an Easton product failed. The intend of my post was to warn hubbers that the ec90 product from aliexpress cracked.
  10. Those SRT bars are exactly the same shape as my chinese bars that also cracked on the top flat part, away from any clamps...
  11. A bit off topic, but have a look at the bar tape sold by rapide... Dirt cheap and the most comfortable bartape I have used. (No connection to rapide, just found a great value product). Only available in black though.
  12. For sure. I will not buy cheap/fake carbon handlebars again. Risk is too high. If price is an issue, I would rather buy aluminium Rapide bars. Great shape, just a bit heavy. I bought a set after the chinese bar broke. Great value and bomb proof.
  13. Only saw this post now. I honestly had no idea that the ec90 was a knockoff Easton product. (Never knew The Easton ones even existed). Just tried my luck on aliexpress, as they looked a nice shape with shallow drop. The specific bars have many good reviews. But lesson learned. I was just lucky it did not completely snap. I just realized they had more flex after my ride???? Cracked on the bottom of the top flat part. Nowhere near a clamp. I just dumped them in a bin and bought proper bars???????? Only positive was that I realized how comfortable bars with a shallow drop are.
  14. Does anyone have feedback on the mileage possible with the sunrace 12 speed cassette for xd drivers?
  15. Thanks, I have moved back to smoove and regular chain cleaning.
  16. What chain lube do you use? I tried wend wax for about 500km on my new gx eagle chain. Already approaching the 0.5 wear mark, so not impressed at all! GX eagle Cassette also done after 3200km. I am going to ride this chain and cassette moertoe and then put xx1 on.

    Attakwas 2020

Last year also did not have a t shirt in the goodie bag. When the entry fee bridged the R1k mark, I just could not justify entering again this year ???? Just too expensive. I still wonder why the fee went up that much though. Barberton classic is next week at below R500 entry fee for the ultra...

    Attakwas 2020

Beers pulling away according to the live tracking. Lead of about 2km with 15km to go.
  20. We are using NZ Shores. Cheaper than most and we have had good service so far (busy job hunting). Looking at about R55k agent fees to residency status for a family of 4. Way cheaper than our first consultation with immigration migration, which would have been over R100k agent fees
  21. Order one on aliexpress for cheap and just wait the few weeks for it to arrive.
  22. Hi I recently bought a sram red crankset and installed it on my Giant TCR advanced pro 0. I bought a token press fit BB 86 and adapter for the non drive side. I used the 1mm spacer on both sides of the bb as in the token instructions. Here is my issue: After tightening the crank bolt, the crank does not spin freely, with a noticeable resistance present. I then removed the wave washer on the drive side. It then spins freely after tightening, but there is a 2mm gap between the BB shell and the crank. After about 40km, the drive side bb cup actually moved outward until it filled the 2mm gap. Then the resistance was back. Is the wave washer intended to keep the bb cup from coming out? This has never happened with my campag press fit bb. Should i just buy an original sram gxp pressfit 86 bb? Thanks
